ONLY 5mg per dose
Please be aware these are only 5mg per dose!Daily dose for the average anemic adult is 65mg of elemental iron a day... So yeah... Seems like they were avoiding disclosing the mg info until you notice after purchase/delivery.

Tastes horrible
I haven't been taking this long enough to know if it's truly impacted my overall iron levels (currently pregnant) but the taste is really horrible. I tried it solo right after I received the shipment and tastes worse than I even expected... just like drinking water from a metal barrel. I've mixed with coke and orange juice... the OJ was really the only way that the taste was camouflaged enough to be tolerable. Don't expect this to be an easy way to take iron... no upset stomach or other side effects so far but the taste is hard to get passed.

Actually works, boosted my ferritin levels
I’ve been struggling with chronic anemia and stubbornly low ferritin levels all my life and have tried various oral iron supplements out there. In the past, I wasn’t able to tolerate any of them and always ended up having to get iron infusions. I began taking Spatone about a year ago, mixing two sachets into a glass of orange juice that I have with breakfast every morning (be sure to drink it through a straw to prevent teeth discoloration). What can I say? My ferritin levels have stabilized! I get regular blood tests and haven’t changed anything about my diet/medication apart, so I’m pretty confident it’s thanks to the Spatone. I don’t think this is a miracle supplement and if you have a low HB count or completely depleted ferritin reserves, this won’t cut it - but if you simply want to make sure your levels remain stable, this stuff is great!

No upset stomach anymore!!!
My saving Grace. I naturally run low on iron.I was taking some other type of liquid iron and it made my stomach soooo upset. So I decided to track these down for a second time. After much research I’m pleased in 11 years these haven’t changed much. I used them 11 yrs ago when I was pregnant with my first child. However Walgreens stopped carrying them and I kinda forgot about them. That is until I was told by my doctor I need to be taking an iron supplement daily. So happy to have found these again. You won’t be disappointed, no upset stomach and no chemicals of any kind!

After taking this supplement I can't say that I feel better, I feel the same
package arrived with some leaked packets , which made the carton box to deform . Regarding the product it self I can't say that I noticed any difference. I noticed that I had iron deficiency when I did my last blood test, also had signs of it. After taking this supplement I can't say that I feel better, I feel the same. However I didn't do another blood test to actually know. Taste wise I don't taste the strong metallic taste everyone complaining about. I just drink it with a cup of water without any issue.
