Excellent
This purchase was well worth it. Our pup was recently spayed. She was more traumatized by that awful plastic cone than anything. As soon as we placed this on her she was immediately more relaxed and comfortable allowing her to heal.

Great cone alternative
This is a great cone alternative or to have in conjunction with a soft side cone. The main thing is to get the right size. Not too big where it can slip over the head and not so small or tight it doesn't work.

It has its benefits. Looks more comfortable for the dog.
My dog had TPLO surgery. He destroyed two types of cones. Even once at the veterinarians. I would’ve given this five stars if it was a way to keep it on when I’m not watching him. This does make it easier for him to eat and to drink instead of the normal cones. I do recommend it, but you really should watch what your dog is doing. The cone type ones can work, but I had to use duct tape to keep it together. I probably could do the same with this. That way the Velcro not come off.

Not for my Labrador
I measured my dog’s neck, and according to the measurement, he needed an extra large. When I first put it on him, it seemed extremely large. However, I used the hoops for the collar which made the pillow fit around his neck just perfect. However, my lab was still able to reach the incision between his legs which completely defeated the purpose of the pillow. Bummed it didn’t work for us. It appeared to be comfortable for my dog, and he did not mind it at all. The quality of the product seem to be good as well.

Comfortable and soft
The cover is washable and soft. My dog used it as a head rest. Not so easy to inflate but it works.

cones work, used 2 of em for more complete coverage
round donut, tolerated well, got 2..to put on , had to cover a neck lump surgery..a cone wouldnt do it..one donut wouldn;t do it.

First time user of inflatable collar and it does what it’s supposed to do.
I purchased this inflatable collar for my pit mix because he’s developed/developing allergies and using this to help deter him from scratching nonstop. while I’m in the process of getting his medicine doses and using a medicated shampoo when I’m not home he’s still scratching quite a bit and even though I didn’t want to have to use this, it helps him a lot. There was a couple times before having this I left the house for a few hours and came home to his neck/shoulders being scratched and starting to bleed, having this and following the bath and his medicine he’s gotten a lot better with less and less scratching. As far as the fit goes I chose an xl based on recommendations/reviews and measuring the size of his neck and it fits him perfect in my opinion. I probably could’ve got the large but I didn’t want him to be uncomfortable or anything like that because I’ve never used an inflatable collar before. The material that the inflatable goes in is very soft, but thick so if he does scratch I don’t worry about him possibly ripping or Puncturing the inflatable part. It also feels like the type of material that is used for athletic wear so he doesn’t seem like he’s getting hot when it has to be on for any longer periods of time. And when his allergies are under control I’m able to wash/clean everything and can save it if I ever need it for anything else. For someone who’s never used an inflatable collar I would have to say it works great and it’s very well made and it would last a long time as long as it’s used correctly.

Pretty good overall
The sizing seems off to me. I have a 40 lb mini Bernadoodle with a 22 in neck. The weight listed for that neck size was 70-100 lbs! I had to go with that size so it wasn't choking her, but it wound up being a little too big for her. It mostly stayed on, but occasionally slipped off. The item itself seemed to be pretty good quality. It is so much nicer than the old cone of shame. Much easier for her to walk around with. Even with the sizing issue, I'd rate it as a good product.

This dog cone works well and the fabric is easy to clean. I ordered the medium because I already have one in grey and wanted a back-up. The colour is actually red, not rose as pictured and described in the ad. I tested it out and it may be losing a tiny bit of air. It is not enough to be concerned about.
