Wonderful hold -- don't slip off.
The Nexcare-brand MAX HOLD, waterproof bandages are GREAT!! I have them in several sizes. They really DO HOLD very well, very waterproof, and are flexible/bendable. Also, the color sort of blends in, so not too noticeable on caucasian skin. Some reviewers say they're too hard to remove or that they irritate skin, but I have not had any problem. As long as they're placed on rather flat parts of the body, I can SWIM in them & a wound stays dry.Be careful when you consider size. The box's given dimensions are for the very outside of the sticky film of the bandage, not for the padded part -- and their shape is unusual. In general they seem smaller than typical bandaids.Never the less - I really love these bandages. Good to keep in the car or in a wallet.

Works great, but careful not to tear skin on removal if your sensitive
It’s really more of a 4.5. My partner has oily skin and nothing, and I mean nothing, sticks to him for long. Clean with alcohol prior and everything. This is literally the only thing that works. It survives Brazilian juijitsu, working outdoors, sitting for long hours in the car, etc.The only issue is, you have to be very careful when removing it. This is not the type of bandage you remove all at once. You need some lotion to massage it off or you risk irritating or tearing (if you have sensitive skin like my partner) the skin. It will definitely hold all day though so it’s a fair trade off. PS still have to clean with alcohol prior or it doesn’t stick, so if you have oily skin so that first

MUST HAVE! (Keep a couple in wallet - accidents are unpredictable..
No words needed - these are a “must” for every first aid kit. Latex free & water-resistant. They’re as close to waterproof- although few products ARE waterproof. Guests seem impressed when I pull these out for use. Yes, initially a tad tricky to remove paper edging after application. These are “must have staple”. Btw, always keep a couple in wallet (along with/ alcohol swab) for unexpected need while out & about. Remember to restock wallet after using a MexCare sterile bandage.Best of all, they’re nearly invisible- this will likely go unnoticed, even @ a formal event.

Great bandages - Deceiving measurements
Fantastic bandages that stay on and protect for days. My complaint is the deceiving claimed measurements: L x W x H 1.5 x 4 x 3.94. Who can understand that? The pictures are very deceiving. They are not that size. These might be for a toe or knuckle. The actual size of the bandage that covers the wound is about 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" long.So you spend a fortune trying to find the right size for what you need. It should not be that difficult to figure out the correct size bandage you need. Why make it hard? Tip: If you have tender skin remove with olive oil or it will tear your skin. Be sure to remove all traces of the oil before re-applying bandage.

Waterproof - Won't Come Off
These work great! Waterproof and they are so sticky they hard to pull off. These feel a bit strange at first, but work so good, you get used to them fast.

These are indeed MAX HOLD
I have some nexcare bandaids I purchased a few years ago, I believe they are regular hold and they hold up really well. Well I recently had to get stiches and decided to give the nexcare max hold bandages a try. They are 100% max hold lol, they're actually hard to remove. The sticky part almost becomes flesh with your skin. Aside from the fact that it's shiny it's actually a bit hard to determine where the edge of the bandage is, to even grab in order to remove. I did not keep it on for 48 hours , just 24 hours . I took a shower with it on and it's almost as if taking a shower (or moisture) actually amplifies the hold. It's just important to ensure you apply the Bandaid correctly. For example don't put anything greasy or oily in the space you intend for the bandage to stick. If you apply ointment just make sure you apply it only to the wound but not the edges where the sticky part of the bandage will rest. I'm going to try leaving one on for 48 hours to see if it gets easier to remove with a bit more time. I'm feeling a bit lucky the area around my wound is numb lol because otherwise I'm not sure if it would have been painful to remove the bandage (because it truly holds really well)

Favorite bandage
This Nextcare brand bandage is the best I’ve ever used! I have used many over my life time. The waterproof qualities truly work. I think they are an essential to every first aid kit. They hold up for several days, if needed. I invest in the bandages because they are true and tried. More expensive, but worth every penny. There’s a learning curve on applyimg them properly, but once you get the system down, it’s fool proof. I’m a very allergic person, but these are gentle on my skin and do not make any rashes or irritation. LOVE the boxes of one or two sizes.
