UPDATE July 9th, 2016:Lifeproof really came through and stood behind their product. I filed a complaint on their website. Their response was rapid, effective, and friendly. Defects in products happen. That's reality. Lifeproof took responsibility and quickly found a solution. That is what customers want and is absolutely fantastic. Well done!The replacement case appears to have no flaws and is the same GREAT quality I have experienced with my other Lifeproof cases.This is the fourth Lifeproof case I've purchased (the third FRE case). I've been pleased with the others, however this one arrived with a flawed screen protector. After installing the case, I discovered the screen protector is warped over the lower quarter of the screen. This makes it rather difficult to use a significant portion of the touch screen. I was hoping the warp would smooth out, that the screen protector would conform to the screen. But no luck. And in the meantime, the 1-month Amazon return period has passed.

Only 32 days after purchasing this case, the clear cover came lose from the case. I am an easy-going 70 year old woman...not dead yet, but also not rough on my things. The seller said (essentially) sorry, 30 day warranty period has ended, go talk to the manufacturer. This is THE SECOND LifeProof case in a row which has not held up. Yes, there is a year's warranty....IF you pay about double the cost and purchase from AT&T or another large vendor. Only the puny 30 day warranty if purchased off Amazon. Honestly...as a business owner, would YOU hold to the "letter of the law" and refuse to replace a case which fell apart in just over 30 days...or would you value your reputation and future business and honor "the intent of the law" by replacing such an obvious defect? I know which choice I've always made in the past (before retiring from my business) and it always paid off down the road!LifeProof used to make great cell phone cases. Not so much anymore, apparently. I'm DONE with LifeProof!

The teal colored plastic waterproof case is the third or fourth one I have owned from the same company. It is called Lifeproof Fre. I like this model because it helps protect my iPhone from getting wet, or getting snow in the phone if I drop it. Plus it has helped prevent any damage when I have dropped my iPhone on the floor, around the car etc. I know family members who put their same cases into pockets during volleyball. So the case does a pretty good job while retaining a fairly slim profile. All functions and acoustics work while in the case. On newer phones, a fingerprint id sensor will be non functional though. For me, the case is expensive but worth it. The cases last 2-3 years for me. But then they eventually get chips in the bottom edges and I replace the case. BTW, teal is a lot easier to find than white or black. So don't be afraid to try a cover in color. ;)

Originally I loved this case- I told my husband it was "2 year old proof" and immediately bought him one after testing the waterproof feature of this phone! As an RN I love that I can simply wash my phone like I would my hands before leaving now work! Ok, the negative: this case broke approx 40 days after purchase... As you can see in the photo it was right by the home button on my iPhone where it separated. I was over he 30 days Amazon return, so I called the company: they have a one year replacement, it only costs $4.99 shipping and they waved that so I was very happy! The only other complaints j have are because it is so sealed up my phone does overheat (which never happened before) and it is a little bit hard to hear while on the phone. I need a durable case with a two year old, and I was shocked at the amazing customer service the company offered. I would happily buy this case again.

Disappointed..I ordered this case on Feb 3rd, gave it to my daughter for her birthday on March 30th. Technically only in use for 4 months and the rubber is separating from the front of the case. I have emailed to LifeProof regarding the issue, and will update if they provide a replacement. I feel that's completely unacceptable for the amount of money spent on the case. My daughter is 16, never parts with her phone, and babies it as if it were a human..so this is not from typical wear and tear.UPDATE- Lifeproof responded to the issue, and a replacement is on the way..downside, they no longer make this color. Save yourself time and use the printout template that Lifeproof requires for picture submission of the warranty item. I will say they were very prompt with their replies and no hassle to get a new case.

I'm always satisfied with LifeProof cases. This is no exception. Love the waterproof especially- I take my phone into the shower and listen to music so I can change the songs.Update; I changed my review from five stars to two stars. While I don't subject my phone to a rough and tumble lifestyle, there's definitely a few times it has fallen off the table or out of my pocket. However, I thought a few small drops wouldn't make a difference. That's what the case is for, right? Apparently not, as I took my phone out of my purse and found it looking like this. I'm super annoyed because I've only had the case for six months and have never abused it to the limits advertised. So much for life-proof I guess.

I have had two of these cases for my iPhone 4s over my 4 years of owning the phone. INVALUABLE!!! I'm an all weathers person & clumsy to boot so after upgrading to iPhone 5 it was more or less a no brainer as to what waterproofing case to get for it. Admittedly I did briefly check out other brands & reviews but ended up disappointed with them. I don't make regular phone calls so the noise/vibrations etc that others have complained of is neither apparent or important enough to me. What is paramount is keeping my phone dry & in one piece & my experiences tell me that I've chosen the right case for me. The headphone screw now comes attached to the case so no more trying not to loose it. The only thing difficult to do is separating the case but I'd very worried if it wasn't difficult! A couple of coins to wedge & slide does the trick but it's best not to be doing this regularly as you'll end up compromising the life span of the seal.The second case I have for my 4s has still got plenty of life in it & has now been past on to my eldest child along with the phone (for a small price, has to learn the cost of things).

This case is ideal for those who wish to protect their phone from a variety of types of damage without having a huge, heavy, cumbersome case. This is a genuine LifeProof case which can withstand depths of water up to 2M (6.6ft) and drops from the same distances. The case's sealed characteristics mean that it is also completely dirt, dust and snow proof. So regardless of weather you're going on holiday and you're partial to forgetting that your phone is in your pocket before going for a dip in the pool or you are just prone to dropping your phone this is the ideal case for you. The only disadvantages of this case are that the screen cover to me seems rather flimsy and that you require an adapter (Provided with the phone) to use the audio jack for headphones and earphones

Works well, fits my iPhone 5 well and provides waterproof protection with minimal bulk. Screen sensitivity behind the cover is not a problem. A little bit expensive when compared to what appear identical copies but I preferred to buy known quality rather than hazard my iPhone. For some reason the blue one which I bought for much cheaper than the black ones, but the blue is a very dark blue, so not a problem for me. This is my second LifeProof case, but only because I was replacing a previous iPhone 4S.

I bought this cover for a holiday in August 2015. The cover lasted for the holiday and was placed in a cupboard until recently however when I took it out the plastic over the menu button had detached itself from the actual phone cover so it is no longer waterproof. Bearing in mind I have not used this cover since August last year I am extremely disappointed that this has happened as I would have expected a £69 phone cover to be considerably more durable particularly when that it is part of the product details. I am going on holidays again in 2 weeks and am so disappointed that I this cover is broken but due to the cost and lack of quality I will absolutely not be buying one again.

Very disappointed, the case itself is very shock proof, however I was hoping that it would be fully waterproof. I say that, it is waterproof apart from for no apparent reason the small piece of plastic that covers the home button came off the case, so water can quite simply damage the phone and this allows dirt to get in under the screen. This is the second case I've had it happen to, only this time I've only had the case for a week or two.

As far as protecting the phone from drops and bumps go, this is a great case. Feels sturdy, I like the look also. But this case is not waterproof, at least mine wasn't. Water resistant is a better description - I can use it in the rain, which is useful for me as I cycle and use my phone as a navigator. If I had bought this directly from LifeProof I could have claimed a new one as part of a warranty agreement. However this yearly warranty is only availlable if you purchase directly from LifeProof. I am disappointed by the result because I was really excited to have a waterproof case. Sadly this didn't work out.

A great case that keeps your phone totally protected. I was worried that it would feel a bit bulky, but not the case. The only down side is the finger recognition cover, it sometimes takes a few attempts to access the phone. Not for everyone but if need all round protection then you can't go wrong with this product.

The perfect case bar for 2 things. I don't like the fact it has a special headphone jack, and the seal under the speaker means the screen protector is pushed our just a fraction. Otherwise the perfect waterproof case and the best available by a long way as you can still speak on normal calls.

I thought it may of been somewhat overpriced for a phone cover/protector but I am very impressed indeed with it as it may of already saved my iPhone from a fall from the top of my house stairs to the bottom. It's got a quality feel to it and fits my phone perfectly it has no sign of wear after two months of use.

I've had a Lifeproof case before and it took some seriously hard knocks. I couldn't trust anything else now, these are great! I haven't had the thing long and have already managed to drop my new phone in a sink full of water whilst washing dishes - this case saved my iPhone's life!

Great for a bricklayer like me, not a speck of dust has nanages to get in and wreck my phone, dust proof water resistant life proofOnly downside i can say is it would of been a far superior product if the screen protector was gorilla glass or something more stronger then thin plastic

amazing couldn't rate it enough, i have a life proof case for both me and my partners phone and also both iPads and they are fantastic couldn't fault them.
