What are the internal dimensions?

There is very little 'internal'; there is a short entry cavity at each end; the center section is solid.

Can this be used in a swimming pool. Would the chlorine water harden up the green grommet and leakage could developed.

I would not use these in a swimming pool application. NEC code is very specific on wiring applications for pools. Suggest you consult an electrician.

Are these suitable for grow lights ?

The documentation states the connectors are rated for up to 400 volts and up to 17.5 amps. Assuming the power for your grow light application is within those specs you should be OK. It's critical that you stay within the specified wire diameter range and strip the wires exactly as the instructions specify in order to attain the specified waterproof rating (IP68).

Will this work with 14-2 romex wire?

You need to use the 14-2 round roam x. Though. The reg isn't round. The wire won't deal with these if they are not round cord
