Eastman 45041 Plumbers Socket Set with Bar Handle 5-Piece, Silver

Worked great, just what I needed, and at a good price.

I was concerned when I purchased that these wrenches would be made of flimsy metal. I was surprised at how heavy duty they actually were. And it does come with the metal bar to turn the wrench with. Perfect and did the job of removing the hex screw on my deck mounted diverter to repair and replace the o rings. The screw was very tightly on after twelve years and this wrench was perfect! Glad I have the entire set for future plumbing repairs as the sizes needed for plumbing tend to be larger than what comes in a traditional wrench set.

Perfect for removal of tub faucet cartridge, when you can't get a wrench in because of the recess.

Had some annoying issues with one of the stems on my bathroom tub and I had no idea the specialized hell I was getting myself into. I'm not a plumbing doctor or anything so I suppose it's not all that surprising that I had no idea what was involved. So can I use one of my deep sockets to get that stem out? NOPE! Maybe a wrench? Sorry, that's a negatory! Finding out that this socket set existed for this one and only purpose was great but also not. Great that they exist but bad that most likely I will never use this set from the Terminator T-1000 centaur flute liine. Oh hey one of the stem faucet handles is rusted on. I wonder if there is a super-specialized and strange-looking tool for that as well? What could be the odds?

I'm not a professional plumber however I do quite a bit of simple plumbing tasks for my family. The problem I've run into consistently is lack of deep capacity sockets and after wrestling with a shower valve replacement followed by a vanity faucet replacement I vowed to purchase these sockets. They're not automotive grade as they're made out of galvanized sheet metal - heavy gauge. However, they work perfectly for plumbing jobs. Great price, functional tool and fast shipment

I’ve only used one size- several times though. Good plumbing sockets. Fit my valve perfect. For the price I am quite pleased.
