Ive been sleeping with a fan on for about 15 years as I have super-sharp hearing. Ive bought several fans over the years but this one is by far the best.It has 12 speeds - 13 if you count 0 (its an air circulation mode)1-4 - Can barely hear these settings even with my ear touching the front. Amazing.5-8 - I used these for sleeping as its got a good level of white noise and a nice breeze. 8 is a touch loud.9-12. Strong breeze and still not that loud - only as loud as my other fan on its lowest setting.Sleep mode - turns the fan to setting 4Air cycling - pulses the speed periodicallyTimer - As it saysStandard assembly like most fans, easy job of 5 mins. Base is solid and a good weight.Remote is reliable from 4m away and simple to use

This is honestly the best fan I've ever bought.It's super quiet up to about speed 6, which is a nice cool breeze. Above that it gets slightly louder but no more than you'd expect, and it's still quieter than other fans I've used. I rarely need to use it above speed 8; at speed 12 it goes at quite a blast. The range of speeds is well chosen. The beep when changing speeds is not too loud (I'm autistic and have hyperacusis, so that could have been an issue). The side-to-side movement works really well and is also really quiet; it's as sturdy and well-built as you could ask for. The remote control does the job, although it needs to be pointed directly at the receiver. The fact that everything can be controlled either from the remote or the panel on the fan itself is excellent.Assembly was pretty easy, and could be done by one person. One of the threads for the front piece that screws onto the rotating shaft is a left-hand thread; that's necessary given the direction the fan spins to avoid the piece tending to unscrew, and it's marked as such.Overall, very good value for money, and I'm thinking of getting another one for another room.

I read the reviews before I bought it and basically they were saying I couldn't buy better. They were right, WOW what a fan, it's so quiet it's currently running on number 6 and the breeze is more then 2 on a normal 3 speed fan but it's quieter then most of those fans on 1. Ideal bedroom fan. Fast delivery and easy to put together. I have put ribbons on mine because on the lowest settings you can't hear it's on even sitting next to it.

Firstly I should say I don’t often write reviews so something really has to impresses me to do so.This was the second fan I tried, the first, from another manufacturer, was sold as being quiet but on all 3 speed settings it sounded like it was about to take off!This fan was £20 more but is well worth the money. It has a remote which is really handy to change the fan speed through the night. On the low speed settings it is whisper quiet.The only improvement I would want would be if it could extend higher as I like the air to blow down over my wife and I when in bed. Don’t get me wrong, the fan is of standard height but the fan I’d had previously for many years did stand higher.This is a quality product and that’s coming from a manufacturing and mechanical engineer.

Was initially not happy with the noise levels of the fan. But it has many useful features and appears to be of good quality. The natural breeze setting, night mode are good. The remote works well.

My faithful fan was getting like me, old and brittle.This replacement (after much research) fits the bill perfectly. IMO there is a lot of dodgy stuff out there.Had to have a timer and one which switches off without a beep after the set time expires and this fan does just that.Strong, neat, easily assembled, two year warranty, 12 speeds, quiet for sleeping with just the right amount of white noise for me.Splendid product.Will it last the nearly 15 years nightly of my old one?Who cares, will I last 15 years?

Bought this to replace a remote control one we had for over 10 years and it easily trumps that one! The base is heavy which makes the fan more secure on a high speed. The variety of speeds, the different functions for fixed or wave settings are good and the fan is very efficient even on the lower speeds. Excellent for those really hot summer days and quiet enough to have on low at night without disturbing sleep and can be set on a timer too.

So impressed I've just ordered another for the living room.Bought this because I can control it without needing to get out of bed, but the bonus is on the night mode it controls itself.The fan ranges from 1 to 12. I find level 3 night mode, which about the same as level 5 in normal mode, is a good balance between breeze and noise. In night mode it turns itself down to 1 after about 30 mins and that is perfect for a veey gental breeze and is virtually silent.When you turn it on it remembers your mode and fan level. At 3 am last night I woke up hot, grab the remote, turned it on and programmed it to stay on for an hour. Half an hour later it was at level 1 and I was cool and drifing off to sleep knowing it would turn of in 30 mins.Another good feature is the digital display turns off 5 seconds after the last button press so no annoying light to keep me awake.Only negative is the instructions for the fan and grill assembly could be improved, but I still managed.
