Very, very thin cotton - which is *exactly* what you want when it's hot and humid and you really just want to to run around the house stark naked but you really shouldn't, lol . . . also very pretty, and looks good on everybody ! BUT !! DON'T THROW IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE unless it's in a lingerie/washing bag, AND on a gentler cycle, AND cold/ cool water ! I own 3 or 4 of this kind of pareo and they will last & not fade, IF you treat them properly. (* A very quick coldwater hand wash is easy and dries fast if you hang it up to dry. ). ** Totally worth it : you can be hot and sweaty and still look great and be comfortable ! And it's not see-through when dry . .

Very pretty, not quite the quality I was hoping for. It washes well, wears well, and seems to get better with age so far. Just a bit thinner than expected. I have been purchasing these for years and this one is the thinnest.

While I love the pattern of this, the fabric is not great. It’s very “cheap”-feeling and thin. I wanted this for a wrap/swimsuit cover and it doesn’t exactly work as I wanted for that. It’s a stiff, thin material. It washed well on cold, delicate cycle in my washer and it did not bleed, but alas didn’t get any softer. I don’t think I will be wearing this to the pool or beach as it did not get any softer with washing. I could maybe use it as a kind of scarf in the spring but it’s best use, I think, will be as a cover for a small table.
