Iv had my colonoscopy bag goin on 5yrs this bag was my 2nd option and it worked wonders for me but it does help to have barrier strips around it to secure openings from having leaks so that’s why they last me up to 4 days without odor and leaks. So what I do is after cleaning the wound area I apply powder from holister or any brand around the wound where I have open rashes. I then blot it with a wet paper towel so the powder doesn’t slide off then I apply a skin wipe to add a crust then I cut my bag to my size then I apply paste around bag to stick on my skin don’t care for the sticks prefer tube paste after putting it in place then I get my wash cloth dry put in microwave for 45 to 50 seconds apply over bag gently press around I do it like 2x then I place my barriers strips 1 on ea side then apply warm cloth again. It may be a process for some of u but if I’m goin to be out in public and around ppl this is the trick where I feel 100% confident doing my daily routines. It last me 4 to 5 days till I change my bag again and I do sleep crazy I’m a plus size women so the bag stays in place hope this helps anyone who needs a different option..
