Honda 2004 Accord 6-speed Manual Coupe
The install was a slight challenge only because there were no specific tutorials on YouTube for my exact car but I figured it out and the sound quality is better than that of what I previously used, a double din touchscreen Pioneer aftermarket radio’s aux port (the aux port stopped working after a few years) so I removed the aftermarket radio, put the original compartment back in and now use the original stock radio with it’s BEAUTIFUL bass and original pure sound quality from being the stock’s radio with no extra wiring, just plugged this cable into the original Honda OEM radio and it fit perfectly. Had to remove the radio and pull it out to install it, only dropped one screw but it’s all good 👍🏻😊💯 it’s so perfect, I love it.Regarding the reviews about the audio needing to be turned all the way up, this isn’t the case for me. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an old dongle that I connect to the aux (not using the USB port) and it works beautifully. Thanks for a great product!UPDATE: it is now April 30th, 2024 and the product is still working beautifully. Just for others to know it’s durability. Thanks again!

So happy this worked that I needed to leave a review!!!
Previously had xcarlink interface. I've had issues with it for years until it stopped working completely a couple weeks ago. Support was nonexistent so I didn't want to pay $80+ for another of their items and not be able to send it back (comes from the UK). So I looked for a cheaper option to try and found this. The reviews weren't mind-blowing but figured it was worth an attempt in case it did actually work. And it has! I have music back! One issue I had was that when I first turned on my car after install, there was only static. I could change tracks and disc's, but still all static. I was heartbroken. Fortunately I turned my car on and off again (lmao!) and it worked then.So I proceeded to drill a hole in the top of my bottom compartment to pull my cables through and reassembled my car with better days ahead. Definitely worth the try for the price!

feels like quality, good clear sound
The cabling feels and looks quality and is thick. My usb thumb drive gets a little warm when being used. CDs ejected are a little warm anyways, seems normal. One of my thumb drives, 126GB, can only format to exFat or NTFS, and so neither played anything. I found freeware to format it to fat32 and now it plays mp3. It is a little quieter, than my stock Honda CD player and radio (6 disc Honda original system). the common white noise is heard between songs, and when it switches to another song, it's almost silent for a second. My stock CD player does this too. However, no whine or whirl buzz sound while driving, like others have mentioned. I decided to keep the box/transformer thing with the yellow sticker on it, outside the Honda storage box to be sure no vibrations from engine touch metal or to be sure it's far from the engine. The 2 youtube videos I saw put the unit behind, under the stereo, then screwed back on the Honda storage compartment. They way I have it, the adapter cabling can reach to the back seat. 2007 Honda Accord, I had to cut a little hole into the plastic so the Honda storage box lid could close. For the price and ease of install, it's working great. Quality white plug snaps into the Honda stereo that was available and unused in my car. Honda Random button does not randomize USB files. WMA files, seem to not work for me.

Easy to install and sounds great.
Took me about 30 min to install. Sounds great & even plays mp3s off of thumb drives.Couldnt be happier.Note: I've found that any USB thumb drives you want to use with it need to be formatted as FAT32. A lot of drives come formatted with exFAT nowadays, and this unit doesnt seem to be able to play files from it. (although it can apparently see the folder structure). It also doesnt work with NTFS.2nd note: You'll come across a lot of people saying its impossible to use FAT32 with anything bigger than 32GB... this is not correct. I personally have a 256GB thumb drive formatted FAT32, which works fine with this unit (and yes it still holds 256GB). The native windows formatting software wont do it, but there are free programs out there that will.

It's ok
So it's easy install (aside for my radio unit was a pain to take out) it works as described... I haven't used the USB yet, but I know that it charged my phone(Nexus 6p), which was a nice plus as I didn't expect it to.The issue I have is that there is some feedback, so I do hear a bit of a whine in between songs or at slower speeds. Also, the 3.5mm is not a very snig fit.. so if the phone moves it starts to get distored or comes loose from the phone and the pauses what was playing... My guess is because of the case I have on it, so I may have to get an adapter with a better fitting jack to connect with the case.It is better than having NO AUX, so I can deal with it. But would have been nice to connect better with a case as I think most people have cases on there obones nowadays. The feedback is what bothered me the most, I figured if it was a direct connect I wouldn't get any.

Gave new life to my 2007 Odyssey EX. Easy to Install
I installed this at the parking lot during my lunch break at work and I was able to do it in about 20 minutes. My 2007 Odyssey EX have something plugged into the aux port and I thought removing that will disable my cd changer. After installing, I tested my radio and CD and everything works fine. The radio have 'XM ready' printed on it so the pluged that I removed could be for Xirius XM radio which I never subscribed.I am not limited to 6 CD's anymore during a long drive. I can now save my songs on the USB as MP3 files and get the same CD quality sound. The sound is not as loud as the radio but if your MP3's are 320kbps, then it plays louder compare to having an MP3 at 180kbps. So, make sure to save your file using the highest quality. At 320kbps, the sound level is at 3/4 compare to the radio or CD sound. So instead of having my volume at 15, I will set it at 20 which is still only halfway as my stereo can go to level 40.
