Black 4 Pin 3.5mm Female To 2 x 3 Pin 3.5mm Male Headset Splitter Adapter

My new gaming PC wasn’t allowing me to use my headphones and earbuds as a mic and it drove me crazy. But after ordering and using this it now works perfectly, allowing them to be both the input and output with a painless plugin and go setup for only $4!

I bought this for my headset that I used when playing the playstation. When I built my PC I went to plug it in but realized I needed a splitter and I ordered this. For $4 it was immaculate. I use it everyday and its pretty great.

I tried to use this to split mic and audio for my Turtle Beach PX24 headset, and unfortunately, this has the wrong pin standard. According to the pictures of this product, this is a CTIA standard, and according to some internet research, the PX24s also use this standard. I do not know why these do not work with the headset. We tried multiple audio ports on two different computers, and a set of PX22s to try to troubleshoot this. We heard audio, but no microphone in both headsets, and in at least one instance the L and R were reversed through this connector. I don't know if this is a lemon, but don't trust it to your Turtle Beaches.

I use this splitter to use my favorite Turtlebeach headphones on my computer. I am only able to use it on my Xbox, but thanks to this handy tool, I can use it on my PC. My brother also uses this splitter for his VersionTech headphones. The original splitter that comes with the headphones is not nearly as high of a quality output and input as this.

I’m sure this would be a great splitter for a standard headset with a 3.5mm plug, however, I bought this with the intention of using my Apple compatible earbuds and Mic with my PC headset input— for this purpose the earphones work however the microphone did not pick up my voice so this particular device is a fail for me.

Useful to have around if you are into computer or gaming tech.

I bought because my Bose QC25 headphones's mic wouldn't work with windows 10. After connecting the headphone cable to this, mic works great! I have been testing around giving cortana instructions. She is able to understand my speech with ease and I don't have to speak loudly. Headphone mic quality does matter but this chord doesn't seem to diminish it in anyway.Also tested during multiplayer gaming, no issues so far.

Audio Started to Cut out after about 3 months, considering I paid $5 for it did its job for as long as I expected it too.
