I might just had a particularly strong, scratchy cat, but after a few weeks some of them split. But they do actually prevent a cat from being able to scratch…problem is she’s just found other bits of the sofa to do it instead 😬

I liked the fact that these came with 7 extra little soft furnishings screws, so that I was able to reinforce the areas I thought might be most in danger of knocks. The sheets are slightly adhesive - just enough to make them hold in place nicely while adding the screws. They are an excellent size - small enough to fit on any soft furnishings, but large enough to prevent the cats from being able to scratch there. They are almost invisible on light colours; they show a little more on dark, but since they're transparent and the screw heads are discreet it's not a problem. My photos show some damage to the furniture, but that was there before and these were bought to prevent it being made any worse. They arrived packaged perfectly, although since they were rolled up I flattened them out under heavy books overnight before fixing in place. Would definitely buy again if required.

Total waste of money as it does not stay stuck to the surface of my armchair. It just peels off after a few days. It comes with small twisted drawing pins which are totally unsafe considering this product is designed to stop pets scratching furniture. An inquisitive kitten or puppy could easily swollow these. Don't go near this it's a complete waste of money and not safe if you have inquisitive pets

These are absolutely rubbish. They dont stick to the sofa at all. I managed to pin them up, and within one time of my cat trying to scratch it, the pins have come out at the plastic is hanging off. I have a 1 year old baby so cannot afford to have loose pins lying all over the place. Health hazard! Absolutely shocking product.

They fit onto the sofa really well and not too noticeable. My cats have now gone back to their cat scratching post again.
