Citrix Lightweight Low Profile

I don't love the citrix as much as the helios or komodo reels that I have from Okuma, but for the money they are fantastic. I have a few of these and took the older ones apart recently to really clean and lube them up and they are better than new now! The pinion gear was bent from some accidental jarring on the 3 year old one and so I just moved it to the perpendicular slots and all is well again. I prefer the new paint jobs to the old ones too.

Its amazing what manufacturers try to pass off as a quality product for "your" money,received reel knobs have enough play in them with a nice worn out feeling strait out of the box....next go to adjust the cast control,no matter what setting (no matter how loose the spool tensioner knob is)it puts so much drag on the reel handle couldn't imagine fishing 10 minutes with it,next made in china thats a given these days.I own many okuma products this one makes me not want to purchase any more "okuma" products....thankyou amazon for letting me return this p.o.s.

Nice reel . Pretty smooth. replacement for an older ardent reel. Casts well . Use it for flipping with braid line.

Have this reel in 2 different sizes. It casts great, is very light, and is very comfortable in the hand.

Cannot even hold it own against a puppy red drum

Brake system does not work (yes I know how to use a bait caster) returned.

Love this baitcaster! Bought this size smaller for my little hands as my husbands full size citrix was a bit big for me, this reel handles heavy weight lures really well. I paired this with a westin w3 6'6 jerk rod.

Very disapointing. Ive been trying to use these reels all summer but no matter what settings I use they wont cast farther than 20 ft. its as if the full breaks setting is constantly on. They look & feel great but perform horribly.
