Yes, it definitely works. Processor type or manufacturer doesn't matter as long as it's 64bit, which basically everything sold has been for over a decade. What actually matters is if your motherboard has an M.2 Slot, which older ones do not.

It should work, but this card is faster than AC, you should also consider upgrading your router eventually to an AX model (WiFi-6).
