I was cuddling in bed watching a movie with my girlfriend. I then got close to her face and she immediately became repulsed and pushed me back, saying something smelled awful. She thought it was my breath, but I was like "impossible". I had just flossed, brushed my teeth/tongue, and also used mouth wash. There was no way. My brain was working overtime on its last 2 brain cells trying to figure out what was wrong. I thought my girlfriend was tripping, so I went in and kissed her to confirm if it was actually me she was smelling. She's repulsed and pushes me back.Confused, I go to the sink, and use my girlfriend's mouth wash this time (Stronger) and come back. During this fiasco, I washed my lips inadvertently. I came back, made my girlfriend smell my breath, and she goes "ahhh. so fresh. the smell is gone". So now I'm thinking... hmmmm. maybe it was my breath? Was it my mouth wash that was being too weak/natural?Then it DAWNED ON ME. OH WAIT. Maybe it was my lip balm! I grabbed the stick and quickly took it over to my girlfriend who was in bed, and I said, "babe smell this! It was this that smelled bad right?" She smells it and goes "OMG LOL YES... IT'S THIS SMELL". After that I realized, "okay... I am never using this lip balm before I kiss my girlfriend ever again". I was also super relieved at the fact there wasn't something wrong with my breath, because usually if your breath still smells bad after my killer oral hygiene routine, it would mean there are severe internal/stomach/gut issues that are causing the smells to leak, and that is not good.That being said. Please don't buy this lip balm, at least the Honey balm flavor, if you plan on kissing your loved one or getting frisky.This is a good lip balm in terms of, it does what it's supposed to do, which is help heal your chapped lips and keep them soft. I bought them because I like honey, and I thought the scent/flavor would be similar to sweet honey.The first thing I realized immediately after opening the package and applied some lip balm to my lips was the smell. It does not smell pleasant or like honey at all. It smells like some kind of weird plant or herbs mixed in with a strange sweet smell. I got used to it after applying a lot of it. But it took some getting used to. I still use the lip balm because, well I have 3 of them from the box... and I don't want to waste them. But I make sure not to apply it when I know I'll be kissing or getting romantic. During the day or at work is fine.

This 2 pack arrives in a paperboard box.Let me start by saying that my go-to lip balm, for YEARS, has been Burt's Bees Honey lip balm - it is everything I like & want. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find right now, so I'm looking for a similar product to replace it. This is not it. If you don't like that brand, this may be for you.This is a semi-soft lip balm. It's softer than Burt's Bees, but firmer than Mongo Kiss, almost exactly in the middle, in fact.On the positive, it is a very moisturizing balm that lasts me about an hour at a time. I do a lot of things with my mouth, mainly drinking a lot of water, so for me, a balm that only needs re-applied every hour is very good & that it keeps my lips soft & moist is at the heart of why I use lip balm.However, the 2 sticks that I received are very grainy, very reminiscent of honey that has crystalized. Whether that is due to the honey in the balm or not, I do not know, but it is an unpleasant texture to me to have on my lips.There is a light, sweet flavor, but it is also very floral forward, which I also find off putting as does my love-interest. What's the point of having kissable lips if the one you want to kiss doesn't like the way your lips taste & thus doesn't want to kiss you?Additionally, there is a heavy floral fragrance to these balms. Not only do I not like floral scents in general, I especially don't want florals anywhere near my mouth (I don't eat flowers, either, no matter how bougie they may be or pretty they may make a salad or other dish).So, for these reasons, I do not recommend this lip balm, BUT if the qualities I've described sound like the kind of lip balm you've been looking for, then definitely give it a try. If nothing else, it is reasonably priced.

This is by far my favorite. I don't like most Chapsticks, as they feel too oily and greasy. I like this because it has a slightly dry finish.. I think the honey hardens and contributes to the finish, makes the product less wet and oily. The other flavors might be a bit more moisturizing. This is more of an occlusive, IMHO, because of all the beeswax. I use the Honey version, because I think wax is the first ingredient. It's used to seal in moisture and the wax serves as a barrier against wind and stuff like that.I purchase this several times a year.

I try lots of lip products. This one lasts longer than most. Finally someone who uses a cinnamon flavor!! I will buy this again and try different flavors. Additional comment: I don't see a place to rate the Orange Ginger lip balm which I received today. Very disappointed in the Orange -- smells like my bug spray. I will use it but will not be buying the Orange again. The Cinnamon & Clove is very nice, however. Too bad it is only a Christmas item.

Let me start this off by saying… I love this chapstick. It is a very sticky formula that is perfect for my dry, chapped lips. However, I purchased the plain honey flavor and the scent is… not my favorite. It’s not as bad as some of the other reviewers have stated, but I would have liked less of a floral scent. Next time I will definitely purchase the lime. Overall, I love this brand and will continue to support this small business!

Je suis accro aux baumes pour les lèvres et j’ai tout essayé ce qu’on retrouve sur le marché, ou presque. Mes favoris sont les Beesentials pour leur effet vraiment hydratant. Il tient longtemps et en l’appliquant avant la nuit, mes lèvres sont hydratées jusqu’au matin. Un must pour moi. Malheureusement ils sont très rares sur le marché et si non très coûteux sauf lorsque Amazon sort de bons rabais. Lorsque ce sera le cas, offrez vous cette petite douceur!

Ce lipsil est vraiment super! Les saveurs sont délicieuses, la tenue longue durée empêche les lèvres de sécher. Un peu cher mais il vaut peine!

This is an excellent product regardless of the price its being sold in, it doesn't add any color or shine to the lips but it just protects chapped and blistered lip. I would encourage to get this as it does what it says it will do.

Not as good as I expected it to be. Not suitable for very dry and chapped lips. Biotique lip balm is way better and a lot cheaper.

Please don't buy this.this does not stay on your lips at all.Never works as a repair balm.too expensive and works worse than petroleum jelly!!No fragrance to allure you no flavours at all.
