Super bad
Super bad! I needed to put 5 stars so it gets on the top of the reviews! Please do not buy any instrument in this place! We bought a flute a couple of months ago. It arrived on time and everything seemed perfect. And my daughter didn’t say anything but she started complaining about headaches every time she would be playing. On one point the teacher played the instrument and saw that she had to BLOW far TO HARD to get out a tune and that there was no difference in the tunes. ALL SOUNDED THE SAME!I trued to get in touch with anyone. They were hard to find. Costumer service referred me to the technician. He told me to please send in the flute to repair. So I had to get back in touch with costumer service to get a shipping label. They started refusing my emails and when I finally got in touch they told me that I was already to late for a refund!Several emails later they told me that I had to pay for the label and several emails later they told me that I even had to pay for the repair in case there was any!No quick customer service! At all!Very defuse information!!!And since I purchased they didn’t want to know anything else.

Nice but damaged
Very very nice flute but came in damaged. The main body near the head joint had scratch marks. Not sure where they came from. There was a sticker in the case with the flute. Stickers usually have abrasive edges and may (opinion) caused the marks. Flute will be returned and another will be sent to replace it. The flute has a nice clear tone and it is highly recommended for students based on the price. Start your student with a decent instrument and they will stick with music for a long time.

Good flute...horrible repair service
We got the flute and it was perfect for my daughter's first year of band, plus good price! Unfortunately, one of the keys got stuck open and wouldn't play the note. She pressed down on it harder thinking thats what she needed to do and it wouldn't come back up. I contacted Jean Paul for repair, they responded back immediately and sent us a repair ticket and shipping label quickly. Which I was appreciative of because I didn't want my daughter missing practice. The gentleman informed it could take a day to a week depending on the work. Three weeks and some emails later, he replied that it was finally being sent back. They did inform me that "in these cases the warranty does not cover these fixes as this is not a manufacturer defect but is the result of the keys being pressed too hard however this time we took the liberty to cover all expenses". Yes I am aware the key was pressed down hard, because it got stuck and she thought she just needed to press down harder. **eye roll**. Well, flute finally arrives back...BUT it's now missing the flue head joint! They ship it out the next day...that was Monday. It's now Thursday and I emailed to ask where the missing part is...response: It was shipped out Monday, you should be getting it any day now. We are week 4 of not being able to use her flute. I feel like it should not have taken this long to get it repaired, and it should not have came back with a missing piece.
