Vita Liberata Phenomenal 2-3 Week Tinted Self Tan Mousse, Dark, 4.22 fl. oz

I absolutely love this product!I've used dozens of tanners and this is by far the best.I am very pale and love being tan but refuse to get a sun tan because of skin damage. ***dont use the cream version---ONLY foam! Cream is too thick!Why I love it:1)VERY natural looking- not orange at all.2) Fades VERY even. No spotting at all.3) Goes on without ANY streaks and you can see where you are placing it! (Has tint to it)4) REALLY GREAT INGREDIENTS! (On the app "think dirty" which rates products for health- this product rates the healthiest you can buy! If you think about it, tanner is rubbed on your entire body. You don't want to put chemicals on all of your skin.5) It lasts a long time with proper care (5-7 days easily- can last longer if you apply a few times here and there to keep it up and use lotion to keep skin hydrated)Tips:Make sure not to use soap unnecessarily when showering otherwise it will of course wash off sooner. Use lotion out of the shower to hydrate your skin so it lasts longer and fades nicer. (I usually don't use any lotion and it still lasts and fades beautifully)Application:Shave, exfoliate, shower, then apply lotion to face, hands, knees, and feet. I then use regular disposable latex gloves to apply the tanner. (The mits soak up product in my opinion and they get dirty)Do one limb at a time- about 2 pumps on each area-I start with feet & calf then thigh, butt, stomach... and so on.(You don't want to over rub the area- it will dry and be harder to blend.)If you make a mistake or your hands or feet look too dark, just add a little lotion and blend before it fully dries. It will turn out perfect.Wait a few minutes for it to dry, put on loose clothes and sleep.Rinse your body in the morning- use soap only where needed. Pat dry your body and use lotion.Then enjoy!

I usually buy this at my my local Ulta but they ran out so I got it here and I noticed the foam was much darker and orangey than the purple brown color of the one I got at the store last time. This bottle also had a slight odor, typical of self tanner, but usually this brand never has a bad smell. I wears off as soon and I apply it with the mitt though. I also noticed it went on darker and stayed darker than the first bottle I used. I think maybe because I shipped in a hot climate maybe it changes the chemical structure of the product but I has not had a negative effect on me. I personally think the key is putting it on 3x with 24 hours and only rinsing with water in between. I stay home the whole day when I do that since any sweat WILL cause an odor and make it run. But if you go the their website they have all sorts of helpful tips that the bottle doesn't have. Also I don't like to use the mousse on my face since it get streaky a settles in dry patches, buy their special lotion for the face instead. Overall its a good product and lasts me about 2 months, even though the tan doesnt stay dark for two whole weeks, I reapply once a week to keep the deep color.

I like several things about this self tanner. 1. It leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated. 2. It doesn't require you to moisturize your skin prior to application and thus cuts down on the amount of effort it takes to apply. 3. it leaves behind little to no odor, unlike most self tanners (which smell like onions to me and can't be washed off). 4. It comes with a application mitt that protects your hands from being stained and gives allows for a smoother application. 5. It has a very dark tint so that you have instant results and your able to see where it's been applied so you can avoid streaks. 6. It dries very quickly and you don't have to wait for 10 minutes before dressing. 7. It leaves a very natural, flattering tan that is brown and not orange. These are the things I don't like about the product. 1. It doesn't last very long, the bottle is small and it runs out much more quickly than most self tanners, mine lasted me about ten full body applications. 2. It is more expsensive than many of the higher end self tanners and because the bottle doesn't last long the price seems way too high. 3. The tint is much darker than the actual tan, so you end up looking several shades lighter once you wash off the tanner. 4. It must be applied in the shower because it stains anything it comes into contact with when its still wet. 5. It doesn't truly last two weeks it only lasts about a week and 1/2. 6. When the tanner starts to fade it comes off in patches they cannot be exfoliated or scrubbed off so you end up looking like you have vitiligo for a few days until it's gone. I still plan to purchase it again even though there are things I don't like about it, I will use it for special occasions because it's too exspensive for me to regularly use.

I started using this product about a year ago. The tan was amazing and really lasted a full week so I didn't mind paying the high price. Something has changed. The last 4 bottles (yes, 4 - I wanted to be sure it wasn't a one-off situation) did not work very well at all. I always purchased the darkest color and it started going on very light and took several days / applications to build the color. It faded very quickly as well. If you miss a day your tan will fade dramatically. I saw a change in the formula. Last year when I started using it, it was a dark taupe with an almost green tint to it. Now it is a lighter taupe with a purple tint to it. I have purchased this product recently at Amazon and Ulta stores & have experienced the same poor quality. I've switched to Skinerals. It works like this product used to work, is vegan and completely natural and is only $20.

I've used this for a few years. I've tried ALL the best and most expensive and keep returning to this. I am pale but I used the dark tone. Look very natural and not orange-y at all. Has a green tint going on, dries very quickly and doesn't rub off on sheets or clothes. Odor is very minimal and not unpleasant. I can apply it every few days and it goes on so evenly, it fades evenly. Good exfoliation and skin moisturizing in between helps. I highly recommend.

Received today. Already try on. Nice color, very comfortable to wear and dry fast. Do not transfer on sheets. Huge plus. I prefer vita compared to St Tropez. Worth the money. This is my new tan!Edit: color is too light for me and fade very fast !

This product is really good, goes on nicely with a tanning mit and stays on. No odors and covers very evenly, not heavy and won't clog up your pores like other heavy creams do.It dries really fast too. Lasts longer than any product I have used before and is the most natural looking tan. It does not come off on your clothing once dry, which most others do. Just don't stand on a white rug like I did when first using it, as it can drip and stain your bath mat. Remember to shake the bottle as the color can settle to the bottom. Other than that (and the high price for a tanning foam), this is the best tanning product money can buy!

This product is actually a miracle!! No odor whatsoever, dries instantaneously, OH, and gives you one heck of a tan!! Even in one application!Finally, not a B S product!! Sure it costs a lot, but think about all the different kinds we all tried for decades and how much money we wasted, well this is worth its weight in gold!!I ordered the DARK, true to color too!!! Cannot wait to put some more applications on!! I love it!Enjoy....

Outrageously good. Horribly priced. I love this stuff. Have tried dozens of tanning mousses - Au courant, St tropez, Cocoa Brown, Famous Dave's, etc. My holy grail check list is:1) Good final colour2) The final colour lasts well3) The final colour does not wear off in patches4) Dries quickly5) Colour guide (ie the tint in the mousse) is good6) Non dyring7) NO odour.So far only two tanning mousses out of the dozens tried get close to meeting this list. They are All My Eternity and This Bita Liberata pHenomenal. Both have great colour guide (though All My Eternity a bit better), both give a great, non-orange, natural looking tan, both wear well, and both are non-drying on the skin. Regarding odour, All My Eternity is better than average (compare the cheap stink of St Tropez, anyone?!) - but it still has a fake tan smell.Now there are two areas where the Vita Liberata wins:1) It has NO smell. I mean ZERO smell. I react badly to perfumes and dislike the fake tan smell And this has niether. It is a miracle!!! The "odour capture" technology really does work. The lack of smell means I will happily wear this just before bed without having unpleasant smells all night.2) It dries SUPER fast. In comparison the All My Eternity is still tacky after 1 hour and actually runs (!) if you sweat a bit up to 6 hours later. You can wear this and dress 3 minutes later. Amazing.So it gets a great fat tick on all my boxes: great initial colour, great colour guide, good lasting tan (I use 2 coats, 12 hours apart, of the DARK mousse on fully exfoliated skin - the exfoliation and repeat application are crucial), non drying, few chemicals, NO odour and SUPER quick drying.But I debated long and hard whether to give this only our stars. And that is because it has one major flaw:THE PRICE. Seriously? £25 for 125 ml. Even St Tropez and All my Eternity (high end stuff) is half the price at £21 for 250 ml.So here is my conclusion. Stupidly expensive. BUT YES!!!! IT IS WORTH IT as it is the BEST tan mousse on the market.

... was ich bereits mehrfach gekauft habe. Die Bräunung wird schön gleichmäßig, der Geruch des Produkts ist zwar noch vorhanden, aber wesentlich leichter als bei anderen und der Mousse ist auch leicht verteilbar. Man sollte aber einen Handschuh anziehen, oder die Hände anschließend gut waschen. Nach ein paar Stunden kann man sich ohne Seife abduschen, dann ist man den leichten Geruch auch los.

Migliore autoabbronzante con buon INCI.Ne ho provati tantissimi e questo non mi ha mai creato nessun problema di macchie (ne sulla pelle ne sui vestiti) non ha un cattivo odore, non secca la pelle. La pelle è come abbronzata naturalmente e NON arancione. Ho la pelle talmente chiara che si intravedono tutte le vene, con questo autoabbronzante riesco anche a camuffare questo mio difetto. Riesco ad usarlo anche sul viso senza nessun problema.Consigliatissimo.

Usato in colore medium e deep. Preferisco il deep per raggiungrre in estate il colore voluto senza operare un secondo passaggio che altrimenti è una bella noia. Dura su di me circa 7 giorni e poi comincia a sbiadire uniformemente se applicato adeguatamente. Consigliato.
