I'm rediscovering my love for thin woolly undershirts
I'm rediscovering my love for thin woolly undershirts! I grew up in a cold climate and woolly base layers were the go to choice of garment in the winter. Back in the day woolly gear was ofter itchy and uncomfortable, thus after moving to a warmer climate I abandoned wool base layers entirely. But since I do not live in the tropics but NorCal, I am often cold and have been searching for a thin layer that fits under a shirt and keeps me warm but isn't sweaty. I have silk undershirts, and smartwool shirts too, but like Hocosa shirts even better. Hocosa long-underwear shirt is silky smooth against the skin, so dry and warm I could wear it all of the time. The shirt comes with useful info about keeping wool clean, airing out is often enough to freshen the shirt. The price can, of course, seem high for an undershirt but this is a supreme undershirt. I'm 5.5, 34DD and have a long back, size L fits perfect. Seams are flat, there are no loose threads, doesn't ride up - all in all a wonderful shirt.

My Mainstay
I have about four of these wool undershirts and they are my main stay in the cooler months to keep from catching a cold, feeling warm inside. I wear two together when I go out and sleep in only one. I air them outside in fresh air and they never smell. I buy two new ones each season and retire the older ones as they are never washed. I have washed them and see no difference, except for shrinkage length wise.

Pricey? Sure. But totally worth it.
What a terrific thermal top. Was worried the high wool content would make me feel itchy, but worked all day long in cool, cold and warm settings without discomfort. Fit is great, too - no skimping on sleeve length. Super comfy and effective for such a lightweight top. Worth every penny.

Thermal base
These are light weight (positive). The size 44/14 fits like a size 12. Good to use it as a base or thermal item. Arms are long and snug but not tight (avg ht/wt). Does not feel very soft (-); does not itch. I am hoping that it will dry overnight and expect to use it as pjs then as a base layer in the morning while hiking. I will keep this item (long sleeves and the sleeveless camisole) but I prefer the REI Coop Merino 185 base layer over this Hocosa underwear-- the REI feels softer and a little bit less snug.

Gorgeous!
I’ve recently started replacing all my clothing with natural fibers. This sweater is super lightweight, soft & flattering. It can be used as a base layer or on its own.

It's natural and soft
This silk and wool undershirt is so comfortable and soft. You forget your wearing it under your top, it's so light and warm. I really love it and actually bought another one just so I'd always have one ready to wear .

This shirt is WELL overpriced! It felt rough against my skin and I don't think there is any silk in it. I returned it.

Love this. Fabric and cut is great
Love this. Fabric and cut is great. Very comfortable and regulates body temp just as described. Just wish it was a little longer. Tends to ride up and expose the midriff, and I am not a particularly tall woman (5'5"). Besides this, it's excellent for layering.
