Rubie's Star Wars Classic Jedi Robe Pet Costume, Large

So stinking cute! I went a little nuts and bought this for my dog because I stumbled upon it right before I had friends over for a Star Wars marathon. It's surprisingly nice quality material and looks fantastic. Only a couple knocks on the sizing (but not enough to take away stars for how cute and nice this costume is!): my dog is really fairly small (25 pounds) and needed a large because he has broad shoulders/rib cage. Make sure to really measure your pet before buying - I'm glad I did. But even though the shirt and robe fit perfectly, the belt is too big because it's supposed to be near the dog's "waist" - and my dog's rib cage to waist ratio is enormous. But I just stuck on some sticky velcro so I could tighten the belt. Easy and totally worth it.

This is the cutest little Jedi costume ever. It’s very high quality and fits my puppy great. There are a few issues but it’s overall wonderful. My only complaints are that the belt was way took long for my puppy. I fixed it by just not using the velcro and tying it in a knot. The other issue is more a personal preference. I wish the costume was just one robe that was made to look like two instead of two robes. That was just make it easier to get on the dog and stay in place.

This is an adorable dog outfit! The material is a stretchy polyester blend that is thick and, for a costume, reasonable quality with nice stitching. This is three pieces: a cream colored "shirt" which is closed along the back with velcro tabs, the brown hooded jacket (with ear holes) which is closed the same and a belt that has a little pouch and also closes with adjustable velcro tabs. The reason I removed the star was fit. According to the size chart, a X-Large should have fit my dog but it is very tight on her (thank goodness for the stretch in the fabric). It will work for a brief photo op, for which it was purchased, but not for any significant amount of wear. My dogs and grandchild pose for several theme photos each year and for this year's Star Wars Halloween theme, it will make a cute photo.

I've tried various dog costumes over the years and this is the first time it's been a perfect fit on the first try. Understandably, it's hard to make clothes for dogs since there's so many different breeds and hundreds of different sizes that you're trying to package into 4 different size breakdowns. All I can say is this one was a win! Their size recommendations worked very well.My pup also didn't attempt his usual escape artist tactics so I'm guessing it wasn't too itchy for him. It was also pretty cold for us this Halloween and this did a good job of keeping him a little warmer.The material didn't feel too cheap and the overall effect is pretty darn adorable!

After reading the reviews, I bought a medium for my small dachshund because everyone said this runs small. However, it was too big. I am returning the medium and have already gotten the small one which fit perfectly. The "arms" still need to be taken in, but that's because her "arms" are really short. Maybe it's just the larger sizes that are smaller then expected. The quality of the costume is excellent. She looks really cute, but she did not win the contest.

I bought this as a costume for my dog Luke Skywalker (yes, that's actually his name!) because I intend on taking this handsome service dog with me when I go to conventions, and having him dressed like his namesake would be so cute! Sadly, the biggest size in this costume is about two or three sizes too small for a rottweiler, but you couldn't tell it looking at Luke's happy face! He wanted to walk around the neighborhood and show it off and could barely sit still for the picture I took! It was cheap enough, so I'm not complaining. I'll just deconstruct it and make my own. But for smaller dogs I'd recommend it.

Our dog is just over 45lbs and it was a little tight. We used glove clips that you hook kids gloves to their coats (bought on amazon) on the back of the tunic but the robe fit fine. He looks so great in his outfit.

Super cute costume, I think the details are all there and the fit is about as good as can be expected. My major gripe is the belt, it’s WAY bigger than the costume and there’s no way to keep it from sliding all over the place and completely off your dogs body! I’ve employed safety pins for now, but obviously not ideal or safe really.

I couldn't have asked for anything more. My miniature schnauzer puppy is about 12 lb. Material is good quality and she hasn't been able to chew through it. Great fit too.

Overall very nice quality. XL will fit snug on a medium sized dog.

This item was way better quality than expected. It is unbelievably adorable. Really, really review the sizing before ordering. I ordered a small for a cat.
