Excellent quality. Powerful story.

I loved listening to this CD while driving to see my Mother in law at a day center. It was real inspirational.

"The Hiding Place," by Corie Ten Boom, is the true account of a courageous family who risked their very lives hiding Jews and others in need during the Nazi occupation. Corie was a spinster who, along with her sister, Betsy, found herself swept up in a struggle against evil as she worked with many other faithful individuals to preserve lives. Not only does this true story recount daring undercover operations and secret rooms, it also illustrates how even a pot of coffee, cream puffs, and a kind prayer can make a difference. Even if sacrifices must be made, God uses Satan's schemes against him, and courageous warriors who rely upon Christ's strength can vanquish the foe. Focus On the Family has dramatized this compelling story in a vibrant and unforgettable fashion. All the actors/actresses do exceptional jobs, particularly the actor portraying Corie's wise, devout father. I'd definitely recommend this magnificent drama to anyone who loves listening to true accounts of God's sovereignty and divine protection: "For I am convinced that neither heights nor depths, neither angels or demons, ... nor anything can separate us from the love of Christ" (Romans 8), "The Lord is my fortress and my Rock, a very present help in times of trouble" (Psalms 46). Please give this unforgettable drama a chance. God bless you.

One of the best Radio Theatre stories I have listened to . As a History teacher, I love the fact that this brings the events alive in a way that is riveting for both pre teens and adults. Great product!

I own 5 of the Focus on the Family Radio Theatre Audio Books and my family and I all love every single one of them. They are exquisite pieces of art in themselves with all the background sounds and effects but most of all, the performer's quality is the thing that grips you and does not let go. I would dare say that these series top any movies that have been made on the same stories. Especially for those who share the same Christian faith, the words that Casper Ten'Boom, Betsy Ten'Boom utter will draw out a deep AMEN, or even tears and will give you practical inspirations and guidance to live our daily lives.

This review is for "The Hiding Place (Radio Theatre)" put out by Focus on the Family Radio Theater and NOT for any other version of "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. This CD version is an excellent *abridged* version of the book and Corrie Ten Boom's amazing story of God's faithfulness to her and her family in the midst of extremely difficult times. I gave this review only four stars because it is an ABRIDGED version of Ms. Ten Boom's story. I bought the FOF version thinking it was the entire book in audio form, which it isn't. That said, this is very well done and remains true to the storyline and the powerful message contained therein. It is also very easy to follow and gripping to hear since there are different voice actors portraying the various characters in the story which really brings the story to life. If you are interested in the UNabridged version of the entire book (ie a "book on tape" though it's a CD), there is one put out by Blackstone Audio that is very well narrated and tells the entire story as Ms. Ten Boom wrote it. If you want the unabridged version, you'll need to search for "The Hiding Place CD unabridged" to find it.

Not listened to this yet but in sealed pack and cds look fine. No encountered problems yet. Seems to be exactly as described.
