Tomlyn Immune Support Daily L-Lysine Supplement, Fish-Flavored Lysine Chews for Cats and Kittens, 30ct

These chews are a little large but they are also soft so I can break them in half for my little girl. Tomlyn is one of the few brands she likes and they work great keeping her eye inflammation at bay.

My cat really likes the taste of this supplement, which makes it very easy to give every day. After using it for a while, I’ve noticed that my cat sneezes less often than before. I’m very happy with the results.

Awesome L-Lysine treats! The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is corn syrup in them. My favorite part is that just 1 treat has the 500 mg of L-Lysine that my cats have been prescribed. With the last brand we used, each cat (3 cats total) had to get 12 treats in order to get the 500 mg. So when med time came, I had to give 36 treats each day and separate the cats to make sure each one ate their 12 treats. Much easier with 1 treat - they eat it in about 5 seconds, and we're done! Much less chance of treat stealing by other greedy cats :-) They also seem to really like the taste. They have a strong smell - kind of like bacon. They remind me of a dog treat. Great for cats who need the high dose of 500 mg, and 3 out of 3 cats like the taste! Win/win. I can't comment on if the L-Lysine itself helps or not - we haven't seen any drastic change - then again, we didn't see any drastic change with the other brands we've used. So, I am not sure if it helps or not, but it's definitely worth trying.

I think this works great and my picky cat actually eats them! He might even look forward to them. He wouldn't eat the Lysine from the vet that they said he would love (shocker, he didn't) so I thought I would give these a try. The only thing to note is that the treats are so big that I break them into three pieces. That's ok... he thinks he's getting three 'treats'!

Our Feral cats love these over their can food! They were sneezing and running noses. This has been a lifesaver for them.

As others have said this does have corn syrup which isn't a good ingredient for cats. My kitty has feline herpes, his symptoms are pretty mild, very occasionally he sneezes but he does swallow/lick his lips frequently which my vet said could be from congestion due to the herpes. She said to give him lysine, I tried the powder that you mix in with the food but he wouldn't eat the food. He really likes these treats, and based on other reviewers I was worried they would be too hard but they weren't that hard, maybe they changed the formula. They are a little big so I break them into two or three pieces before feeding them. It really sucks they have corn syrup because if it wasn't for that I would be feeding these treats long term, but I am gonna have to find a different way to give him lysine when I finish off the bag.

My little man Kinoko loves these! He's a rescue we found out has FHV and needed 500mg of lysine 2x a day. The brand we usually get has been out of stock for 2 months so I am very thankful to have found your brand/dose. Other brands only have lower doses available which made it to where he was having to take too many to meet his needs. With the Tomlyn brand/dose he gets the lysine dosage he needs in a single "treat" 2x a day and his nutrition needs are met as well because he's not filling up on 4-6 lower dosage "treats".

Cats won’t eat

They come in cubes. I crush them and put in his food. He won’t eat the cube by itself. They are a supplement he needs

When I first received these I tried giving to my cat whole and he would not touch them. I broke them up into tiny pieces and he literally could not get enough of them. I think he would eat the entire bag if I let him. He has very bad allergies - poor guy has been sneezing and his nose has been running non stop. He is a super fussy eater and these are the first of these type of medications that he will eat. Hopefully they help him!

The cat loves it, hopefully it does help with immune system. Pieces are quite big for a kitten but is easy to break
