great product
This made a wonderful present for my grandparents who have now become great grandparents. I keep sending photos of their grand grand and thought a picture frame that could receive new pictures would be a great idea. I opened this up and set it up before gifting which was very easy. So many customizations including weather and time which are great to have. My grandmother is 80 and had no problem setting up the app and connecting to the frame. She will text me to say she loves the new pictures I sent. Already bought this to gift to another family member and I will likely buy more. The app is easy to use and such a great way to share photos.

Great frame
This was a gift for my parents, they absolutely love it, it's easy to use and the app is good as well. It's all free but there is a pay version you can get if you want. The pictures look good and it's easy to send photos from my phone to my parents frame no matter the distance, they can even like or heart the pictures.

Highly recommend! Best Gift
Got this as a gift for my mom for Christmas and see LOVES IT!! I like that I can add pictures from my phone at anytime since she lives far away. Just need wifi. Easy to set up and very user friendly. Very nice frame compareed to the expensive $200+ ones. Does the exact same thing for cheaper and still just as nice!

Good display, easy to use, but lacks subfolders to separate photos into useful collections
This Frameo digital frame replaced an ancient Brookstone model that I have used for 20 years. That one was only 640x480 resolution, but this new one is 1280x800. (I had to figure this out for myself, it's not detailed in the printed user manual that is otherwise very useful). I re-scale me frame images to the precise resolution of the frame, so it would be helpful if the native resolution had been noted in the user manual. The normal resolution for displays in this category of "HD" is 1280x720, so the frame must be set to not vertically stretch photos to fill the frame. If not set properly, circles will appear as ovals. It would be better to have the default set to maintain the proper aspect ratio of each image. The frame has a setting to determine how the surrounding area of a non-stretched photo will appear. The choices include black as well as a color that suits the overall tone of each photo. The setup process to send images via phone was simple and fast. I sent a sample photo from my phone and it appeared in the frame in just a few seconds. I then connected the frame to my computer via USB so I could transfer my screensaver folders. I copied my screensaver folders into a top level older named DCIM as noted in the user manual. I was pleased that the multi-Gb transfer moved very quickly. But then my disappointment began. Turns out that although the frame has 32G of memory, ALL of the photos to be viewed must be stored in the single top level folder DCIM. I have thousands of photos in my collection, separated into folders based on people, places, events, etc. My ancient Brookstone frame could display all the photos in all subfolders, or from only one subfolder. This new Frameo frame can hold images in subfolders, but they can't be viewed unless moved into the main image folder using a USB connection to a computer. To me, having 32G of photos in one huge folder is a very poor design choice. Also, although the frame supports an external SD card, the frame cannot display images directly from the card. The image files must be transferred from the SD into internal memory. My old Brookstone supported image display directly from everal types of external memory, including SD and USB sticks. So having a few USB sticks with images for specific occasions was a simple and low cost solution. But with the Frameo, manual transfer of external images is required every time they are used. I know enough about small computers and programming to appreciate how little effort it would take to design the frame to use subfolders and or external memory. I contacted the company and received a prompt response explaining that subfolders are not available but would be a useful update. I doubt it will happen, but maybe one day a firmware update will provide what I consider to be a basic feature for a 32GB digital photo frame. Otherwise, it's a nice frame considering the low cost. But with a few tweaks it could be much better.

The Perfect Gift for Staying Connected to Family Memories
I loved this photo frame so much that I ended up buying seven of them as Christmas gifts for family and friends. It has been such a fun and meaningful way to stay connected. Photos that loved ones send just pop up in the rotation, and it’s always a wonderful surprise to see new pictures appear. I also enjoy sending photos to them, especially updates of the newest generation of babies in the family. It’s a fantastic way to share everyday moments without relying on social media, and it makes everyone feel a little closer, even when we live far apart. The display is bright and clear, the touchscreen is easy to use, and setup was simple for everyone. This has easily become one of my favorite tech purchases and one of the most appreciated gifts I’ve ever given.

Easy to use. Great quality
My mother in law loves pictures so this was a perfect gift for her. What I love about this is I can send photos to it no matter where we are so she can see photos of grandchildren participating in activities and every day life. I do have to adjust some of the photos as I upload them. She really loved that we can also upload old family pictures from years ago that I scanned from a different app.

Awesome for a gift or yourself
I love these things. I received one as a gift a couple years ago and now I keep buying them for people! I love the ease of this. It takes like 5 minutes to set up (get it hooked on the wifi and then it's easy). Once you have it connected to the app on your phone, you can send it pictures anytime. The Frameo app is so easy too, you can send pics to the frame from anywhere. I have 4 frames on my app so I can send any of my family members new pics of the kids at any time. They love waking up in the morning and having new pictures. This holds a lot of pictures too, I haven't reached capacity on any of them. The frame itself is beautiful but you can choose different color options to fit your decor. The 10" is great, even shows the time and temperature outside which is a nice and unexpected feature. If a picture gets on there by accident, no worries, you just tap the touch screen and delete it. I've accidentally put screen shots of recipes or my background on there before. It's no biggie. These frames are great for you or any of your friends and family.

This is the third one I bought. Great digital frame for the price and easy to load photos from cell phone. I’ve given it as gifts and always well received. Highly recommend!

I have repurchased this item several times for gifts! It’s awesome that you can send photos to it from wherever and other people can send as long as they have the code! Great gift for families! Allows you to edit the photos to fit the frame better as well!

I was hesitant to purchase because of mixed reviews. I only wanted one to publish pictures of my travels. So far it works well for me. I have uploaded around 1900 pictures from my PC with a USB to type C cable into the frame. It did crash a few times like I have read in some comments. What is strange to me is that the upload was like still ongoing? I had already organised my pictures on my laptop into folders. I wish i could've been able to copy and past onto the frame but nope... doesn't seem to be working. Had to upload all of my pictures into the frame, then recreate the folders/album into the app and then select the pictures I wanted into the album and move them into it. (Press and hold one picture and then slide your finger down as it if was a computer mouse and it selects multiple pictures fast. I first did it one by one before finding this out). Also seems to be a limit of pictures you can upload at the same time. At some point I did I think around 440 pictures and it only uploaded 220. Another downside is that I can't seem to be able to upload videos... don't know why because they were MP4 and it says that it is compatible. Maybe I am missing something... I thought it was strange that there was already 3.17GB before I even put anything on it. But had to install the Frameo app so it's probably that. The app was free. Didn't need to register. I didn't install the app on my PC. Quality : The quality of the pictures isvery good. The frame auto-rotates depending on the orientation you want. Slideshow : I have read some comments saying that they didn't like the white background or the fit to frame or the widgets. All of these can be adjusted in the settings under : Settings > Slideshow. There you can adjust the time you can see the picture. You can choose if you want pictures fit to frame or not. (Fit to frame zooms in and, to me, cuts parts of the picture so I removed it). If not we'll you will see part of the frame. So you can choose if you want it black, white or colored gradient. Some people complained about the weather, the time, the caption showing. Again in this section you can choose if you want to see them or not. **The caption is the date the picture was uploaded into the frame by default. I wanted them to show the date when the picture was taken. So under Photo display order, you can change it. I have no connectivity problems so far. Recommendation: Would be nice if the frame has a battery that we could charge and then watch the picture disconnected. Right now it HAS to be connected so the length of the cords limits a little bit.
