Excellent quality - feel like a real Viking!
The shield and axe were both very sturdy, but didn’t weigh so much as to feel like a burden. While it didn’t come with straps, I was able to use a belt to make an attachment for the shield that I could then wear on my back, and also slide the axe into. Obviously the best part of this product is the authentic look. You will definitely look like a Viking with these items!

Looks good and solidly built.
The Shield is weighty and feels solid. Just know going in that the "beige" color is kind of pink out of the box and may need repainting if you aren't into that. The Axe also feels good in the hand. The "blade" is pretty soft, so there is no worries about hurting someone with that. Keep in mind that both the axe and shield have a rigid skeleton that could hurt if you were to be hit with the shield edge or axe handle. Perfect Size shield for me and very usable for a LARP or cosplay type event.

It’s not beige, it’s pink!
I just got my shield and axe today. And while it is made of a very sturdy rubbery material and the detail is AMAZING. I WILL say this... this shield is not blue and beige. The “beige” is actually a pink color (or the one I got is)... I mean it’s like a baby pink. That’s fine for anyone that likes pink. I’m just not a pink kinda girl. Especially when it comes to a Viking costume that I’ve been very deliberately piecing together. I was disappointed about that. IF you like pink or the color doesn’t matter, order this! It’s A great quality. But if you’re like me and aren’t too fond of the color, order another shield.

Great axe and shield for price.
This is as good as it gets for cosplay. It has the look and is made very rugged for hard use. I can’t wait to make a shield wall with my warriors!

Cool larp set
Amazing how well it is made, all most looks real. I tossed the to my roommate, he thought is real and screamed like a girl. Worth it

Arrived warped
Arrived warped and the brown is more of a peach. Looks better in the pictures then it does in reality.

Shield is blue and pink
I wanted to use it for display purposes. The size and construction was good. BUT, the colors of the shield that was sent me was blue and pink. Not blue and brown as advertised. I doubt if the Vikings colored their shields in pink. So, beware!
