Works well. My water hardness level was non existent. This product brought the level to normal range within a few days. My advice is to only put in 2 lbs at a time mixed with a bucket of water. I tried to do 5 or 6 lbs the first day and the next day the water was cloudy. So I waited a few days for the water to clear. Calcium hardness level was still too low so started putting in 2 lbs per day for 3 or 4 days. And that did the trick. Still have about 1/2 bag left that I can use again some time if needed in the future. Worked for me!The pic tells the story. My water hardness level was non existent before I started adding this product. Now it’s just right. My pump sounds like it’s quieter. Working smoother. Maybe that’s just in my head. But it does sound better.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This calcium hardness increaser dissolves in water easily vs other brands. The store bought product used previously did not dissolve after stirring it in a 5 gallon pail of pool water.Also, the price was cheap for 25#.

You won’t find a better deal! Super easy to open and use, and adjusted pool calcium hardness as expected. Great quality.
