Fun WorldMen's Adult Jailbird Costume

I was skeptical of this costume because it was $7. I mean, expectations were pretty low. But, we needed a very quick costume option for a Halloween party and I needed it fast. It was sent Prime and was here when I needed it.But overall, the costume is good. It is made of a unique polyester-esque material. It fit well. The waist is a band, so it should work for anyone. Length was good. We did buy one for my wife as well, so we were matching. She had to fold it up a little due to its length, but it was easy to manipulate. So again, overall I was pleased with the costume. I mean, anyone complaining about a $7 costume...come on. It is $7. If you are paying higher than that, I still feel it is worth it up to a certain amount. But, considering the material, it should not be more than $15.Note: The material is very thin. I actually liked this as it breathes well and is cool, but if it will be cold when you wear it, this will not keep you warm. This is not like a real, old-time wool prison uniform. You will need to wear clothes underneath or you will freeze.

I was trying to find a black and white striped shirt originally at the suggestion of my girlfriend/bandmate since we usually dress up for our shows during the month of October not just on Halloween itself. I had planned to shop at different stores for a related top to wear with black pants but time was growing near and I thought-There's always Amazon. So that's just I did. Then I figured I'll go for the entire deal-not just the shirt but the matching pants and cap as well. My only regret was not shopping soon enough. Luckily it arrived this past Tuesday and was going to wear it to a show we would've done this past weekend but the show was cancelled. Yet, there's always Halloween as well as next year and possibly other costume parties. This outfit is perfect never mind the accessories-ball and chain, sledgehammer and cuffs. The stitched-on number is plenty. Not only that-it fits perfectly. I'm happily satisfied. For those who want to dress as jailbirds I strongly recommend this costume. Get yours NOW!

What do you expect for a costume? I had to use my sewing machine to reinforce every seam. If you don’t, you will 100% split the pant seam! I did several alterations. I cut off fabric from the bottom of the top bc it was too long. I used that fabric to create a pocket bc I needed a pocket since I wore this to work. I added elastic to the sleeves and ankles.

For the price, my expectations were low. However, the costume actually looked good and fit me.....and I'm 6' 3" tall and 200 lbs. The material is light but plenty sufficient, and has some stretch to it. The inmate # is already attached to the shirt. Don't think it would hold up to a washing, but could be used multiple times if kept clean. Comes in a small plastic bag that can be snapped shut. It has a plastic loop on top of the bag so that it can be hung in the back of the closet for reuse. I'm breaking outta here!

Good value for the money but wish you could choose sizes. I am shorter so the legs are a bit long.

Ordered two and was very surprised and pleased. My husband is 190 lbs and 5'9" and It fit him perfectly. I am 104lbs and 5'2". It was so easy to cut off sleeves and legs (no hemming needed) and if you have a sewing machine, it is so easy to take the width of the legs in and the width of the top and sleeves in and just cut off excess. Took me no time at all and it fits just fine. Very happy with these costumes.

As soon as I opened it I actually started laughing I put it right back into the packet and returned it...It has no stretch at all it is made of some kind of fabric that has 0 stretch.The material is extremely thin it looks so cheap...It's not even worth $5 I paid to and I paid $25 because they were overcharging for Halloween..The number is not even printed on the fabric you have to stick it on like you're a child putting on a sticker...I do not recommend this at all unless you happen to be you happen to be a size 0... There is no way that this is fitting any adult male that I know.I bought one for my husband and 1 for me my husband is 5' 8 and a 175 pounds average weight and I am 5' 8 and a 150lbs and I couldn't even get it on!!!!!
