again chewy, not crisp like freeze dried should be. not impressed with the quality. my cats barely touched them and the LOVE freeze dried capelins

I normally purchase capelins from another brand but they were recalled so I didn't know where to look. I found this brand and while my dogs at first realized they were not the same, they were still begging me for them after they had a taste! Granted they're kind of soft and a little crumbly, unlike the dry and crunchy ones I used to get, and are a little smellier, but that did not worry the dogs! For anyone who has not tried capelins, I warn you that they stiiiiiink! But this is one of the things that appeals to the pups. Just hold your nose and give them the good stuff!

This product my my baby's sick for days. And you cannot get a refund on them. Although they do smell bad. These had a bad smell from the bad smell. So I'm sure they were bad but I can't do anything about it. Very disappointed

I asked the dogs for whom this was purchased to help me write the review:Our human is awesome! She brought us these really smelly treats that last a long-time. We told her to give them five stars for EVERYTHING; but she wanted to make sure other humans understood that these smell really bad...to human noses. Like dead fish...which they are! We ate them really fast, every time she gave us one and we both give these treats two paws up for flavor, hence the four paw rating.The only small problem was how well we digested these. We've had another brand and digested it really well. Despite the fact that these seemed just as yummy, they did cause small tummy problems. When our human walked us she said some bad words b/c she had to clean up the p**.But, if you have a hardy canine, these are wonderful snacks. My dogs love anything fish and I have bought many fish treats, but when I pull this bag out they go wild. My only complaint is that they used to chew these slowly and the chew would clean their teeth. Now they seem to gulp them down within minutes. Highly recommended
