It's perfect for beginners just getting start.

It’s a nice set for beginners and it came with 2 brushes and multiple templates. Due to the packaging, sheets came wrinkled and frayed on edges when the package arrived. Don’t think this will hold up very well in a long run. If the box provide a better long term storage solution, it will be great.This is perfect for young kids because it’s mess free! That’s the best part.

I think this is amazing and a great way to practice calligraphy without wasting tons of ink and paper at the early stages. Though once you want to move up to making more permanent works you will probably have to buy a whole set of new stuff, but it it would go to good use to someone who is more experienced to use it.

My 80-year-old mother in law with early stage of Dementia loves it. She kept saying what a great idea. Who is so smart to invent it? She practices almost everyday. Great quality!

Good quality for beginners.

The box and papers and brushes are larger than I had expected, but actually that's good for beginners. It's nice that there are so many character pages to use. The water brushing on the papers is so cool! No inky mess, unlike when I was a child (though grinding and making the ink was fun). You can use it over and over again.

I thought this would be a good beginner set but the sheets that come with it are too large and they are made cheaply. The sheets come apart like they are woven fabric. you can pull strands from them the whole length of the sheet

The quality of the set is decent. my children had a fun time and great learning experience with this set. Only need water, and children can practice calligraphy. It can also be used as a concise dialogue to stimulate children's ability to practice and improve skills.
