Bissell Disco Teal Foot Window Assembly for Crosswave Wet Dry Vac, 1609656

I was somewhat skeptical about ordering this replacement part. Would it fit properly? The one that came with the machine was hopeless - it fitted so tightly I had to use PLIERS to remove it which led to it breaking, hence this replacement. I needn't have worried. This new part fitted perfectly. Also, I read in the reviews about the 'squeegee' rubber strip not being present on the replacement. Sure enough, it wasn't. I thought I'd better save the old part just in case a replacement was necessary. I needn't have worried. The new one works BETTER than the old, even without the squeegee part! So, all in all I am VERY satisfied with the replacement cover and, assuming all these replacements are identical, would actually encourage users to swap the original out, as trying to remove it was a real pain. It's worth it. Delivery was actually ahead of reported time and the item was packaged securely, so no damage. I am VERY happy with this purchase and it has led to much more use of the mop.

This is an authentic Bissell replacement part and fits my CrossWave perfectly. It was easy to install and works just like the original. My vacuum is back to working correctly again. Very happy with the quality and purchase.

I had my Bissell Crosswave for a very short time when I noticed the suction not being what it should. Sure enough the cover over the brush was cracked on one side where it connects to the unit. I am not sure how it cracked as I loaned it to someone. I found this replacement part on Amazon. I received it in a shipping envelope (not a box), of course it was cracked when I got it. I requested a replacement and suggested they put it in a box. I got my replacement with no trouble, IN A BAG. I was already a little disappointed before even opening it. Luckily it was not cracked, and I am back to cleaning my floors. I would defiantly inspect the item as soon as you get it, it seems that Bissell needs to up the quality of their plastics a little. That is not on the seller, they just need to send a part like that is a more secure packaging, hence the 4 stars. Over all I am pleased.
