How do you start it up; I plug mine and it won’t work?

Turn the Gray Knob Clockwise, if that doesn't work check your power source including your extension cord. Pf it won't start after doing the above, you prob. have a LEMON.

Will this vacuum pick up queen palm nuts?

it might but I wouldn't recommend that with ANY blower vac because they will chew up the fan blade inside
