This was my first time, ordering these pants. I read a lot of reviews, to determine sizing. I'm 6', 225 lbs. I don't have thick, athletic legs. I normally wear a 38X32 Slim Fit in jeans (Wrangler). After reading quite a few reviews, I decided to try these, in a 40X30. A lot of reviews said the waist runs small, and the length is long. So, I rolled the dice, and went with the 40X30. I couldn't be happier. These fit like they were made for me. The waist is comfortable. Not tight, not loose. The 30" length is great. Lays nicely on my boots. Not too short, not too long. A really nice fit. Front pockets are deep, and roomy. Cargo pockets are a nice size. Not huge and bulky, like some Cargo pants. Very useful. Next, the Cell Phone pocket. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+, with an Otterbox case. In the case, the phone measures 3-1/2" W X 6-3/4" H. It slides right into the Cell Phone pocket, with enough room to put my thumb and index finger into the pocket, to grab the phone at the sides, or front and back. Nice fit, and just right for my phone.I'm very happy with these pants, and will be ordering more, now that I know the right size, and that the features of the pockets, work well for me.Not many reviews give good details on their personal size and weight, as compared to the size pants they ordered. I hope my review will enlighten those who are hesitant to order, or at least, give you a guideline.

I have purchased these same pants on several occasions from different vendors and I can honestly say they are great work pants. I work in a kitchen so I need pants that will withstand a brutal onslaught of grease, grime, and food spills of all sorts... not to mention multiple 12 hour shifts per week. These do the trick. They are durable. They last. And they are pretty darn comfortable especially after you break in that fresh cardboard feel dickies have when they are new. The fit is nice, I prefer the slim twill fit over the classic style because having baggy or loose fitting clothes can be a hazard actually when you are moving around alot in potentially hazardous work environments. They aren't too slim though like teenagers wear. Just right I think. The pockets are great as well. On top of the two cargo pockets these do have the additional phone pocketon the side of the right leg just above the cargo, which make for a great utility pocket. I do tend to cut a small V into the inside seam at the bottom of the pant legs just an inch up to the hem line so these will fit over the tongue of my shoes more freely. A slight alteration I find personally pleasing. On a final note I have these in both black and navy blue, they have lasted so far 2 years and are still going strong.

First review I've written here but as someone who always has an issue buying pants I feel compelled to since it seems my search for work pants has finally ended. I went with this style based on reviews. Usually have a problem with pants fitting properly in the legs and waist without it looking like I'm sagging my pants if worn low, or if pants are worn at the waist it just looks really bad if in the back because I have a rather small butt. I'm 5'10 !60 lbs with 30" waist and the 32" 32" fits perfectly all 3 pairs when sitting below the waist which is how they are supposed to sit. There is some flex in the fabric and the cargo pockets sit flat enough to where they are barely noticeable. My job requires me to carry more than I can fit in normal pockets and I need move around alot while looking at least a little professional. They are a little tighter in the thighs then I would normally prefer but the slight stretch in the fabric makes it tolerable. Cell phone pocket fits i phone 5s in otterbox case almost perfectly, anything bigger might be an issue. Wash and dry permanent press setting and they come out wrinkle free. As someone else said if you have any junk in the trunk you may want to look elsewhere. Order for hip size not waist size otherwise I could see fit being an issue. Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is the ugly dickies tag which removes easily, just cut outer threads with an exacto knife. Only other complaint is that fly is short so you have to unbutton to do your business. If you have a slender build these should work for you. Hell I actually have been complimented on my pants by women when wearing these which has never happened before. Even my girlfriend who has no problems criticizing me for my fashion choices complimented me saying said they looked really good. I never would have thought a 25 dollar pair of dickies could get that done!
