Need Double Coverage
Really easy to mix, apply, and also store if you have extra. I have right at 400 ft^2 double car garage and luckily bought twice what was recommended on coverage. One coat just doesn't look good so I needed to apply a second. Kinda expensive per gallon but hey, if you want to do it right go ahead and spend the extra money and do the job correctly the first time!

Good value
If you want a true, granite-look floor, this base coat and "Domino" chips are the ticket. I bought the 25 pound box of chips and used about 15 pounds for a 2-car garage. Then cover with a clear coat within 24 hours. Recommend polyaspartic clear coat for toughness and to avoid yellowing. Have done epoxy floors, polycuramine, and polyurea/polyaspartic. The latter is what professionals use (polyaspartic high solids clear coat), though it is a bit more difficult to use and more expensive. A trick I learned along the way for added grip and sparkle is to get a large bottle of "Crystal" glitter from Hobby Lobby, and sprinkle lightly into your clear coat as you move along. I was concerned about pot life, as I was doing the job alone, but pot life was no problem at all--so you can just mix all of A & B at once in a clean five gallon pail, with a paint mixer on a drill. Agitate the bag for a couple of minutes before dumping in pail. I cut the edges of the garage first, then rolled on with a 3/8 nap roller on an adjustable extension pole. Note: wear safety glasses for eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves. If you get this stuff on your hands it will be extremely difficult to get it off. Recommended solvent is methyl ethyl ketone (MEK).
