Batman (2011-2016) #1 (Batman (2011-))

As a batman fan, and a lover of comics in general, I can't reccomend this comic strongly enough. Seriously, stop reading this review and buy it, you will not be disapointed. It's a dark, gothic, murder mystery that emcompesses everything glorious about the dark knight. Scott Snyder not only knocks it out of the park, but he wins the game. HIGHLY reccomeded

I love the artwork, it is dark, gritty, and conveys a sense of action. The storytelling is quite well done and while some things require suspending belief it is overall some of the best writing I've seen in comic books. The story is quite violent in many spots so it probably isn't a great series top introduce a young one to, but I'm loving it so far.

Batman is the greatest of heroes to be because he isn't super powered. This comic assumes you know something of the legend already and proceeds to kick you right into a well written story. Excellent job! A must read

I have to admit I was against the New 52 from the start I thought it was a bad idea (still do). But this New Batman doesn't lose a step the art is fantastic. Greg's work on this is phenomenal and you can tell that he is having a ball doing it...all those issues of Spawn have paid off for this. And Scott's writing is top notch all around a good read one of the better title's of the New 52

Awesome, my 1St batman comic book and I absolutely love it. Will buy more!!! My nephews as well are extremely excited to read it as well, even my 5 year old nephew.

Art is awesome, story great, I bought it for kindle because it was only 99¢ but would much rather have the actual comic, will be picking it up thru amazon soon.

Best book I have ever read I repeat the best book I have ever read After I started to read it I couldn't stop

The opening was awesome, the art was great, and it was interesting. The opening showed off batman's combat skills, the middle showed us his act as Bruce Wayne, and the ending showed us his skills as a detective. Basically everything that is batman was in this comic, oh, and I almost forgot the villains. Joker looked slightly weird, but that is expected, besides that it was very good. I can't wait to get my hands on issue 2.

A very good read and cannot wait to read the rest of the books in the series. Very well done.
