previous "non expensive" knives have gone blunt and would not sharpen properly. This knife is used only for carving meat so the sheath is good for protecting blade and putting a very small edge on the blade to maintain efficiency. Good value for money, very pleased.

This is a fantastic product for the price. A kitchen knife in a self Sharpening scabbard is a great practical idea. I use it for cutting fresh meat, or slicing from cooked joints. Excellent.

Self sharpening is the way to go I have had a couple of these knives and they have been great they are getting a little old now and still as sharp as the first time I used them I thought it was time to add another to the collection. I like the lock as well means that they do not come out of the sheath while in the draw and therefore protects the blade.

Comes in a useful, attractive sheath for protection and to keep the knife sharp.

Very good strong knife stays nice and sharp

Ordered this mainly due to the good reviews and the fact that it had a self sharpening case,. What a fantastic piece of equipment it cuts meat beautifully with no effort instead of hacking at it as my previous knives have done. Love the fact that because it’s in a locking case it can just sit in the cutlery drawer with complete safety. Just a word of warning be very careful when washing it as it is so sharp.

The knife stays very sharp in its protective blade cover with in built sharpener.

Have had Wiltshire self sharpening knives since the 90’s and still use them so decided to buy a couple more and still love them - bring more selection to Canada please!
