Pasts Reunite!
A enjoyable short MC read, second chances. I really enjoyed this lighthearted and entertaining read. Ghost and Jenna were both likable characters, and they had great chemistry and a past. Overall it was a enjoyable read, with little drama.

Ghost: Lords of Carnage (1)
Wow. 1 down 7 more to go, can't wait. Daphne Loveling sure writes a good MC book, though I get the feeling she's just warming up. Jenna & Cas had a fling 5 years ago, then went their separate ways. Cas is now part of the Lords, goes by the name Ghost. Her brother Gabe & Cas are best friends, he too is part of the Lords, he goes by Angel & is club VP. Angel never knew about his sister and best friend. Jenna is now back in town, just about broke and with a 4 year old son Noah. Her father is Mayor & got her set up in a cheap apartment after she refused to move back home with him. Jenna had done barwork, but despite trying everywhere still has no work and is getting desperate. There is a fight in the club and Jewel the bartender gets her arm broke, the prospect who replaces her while she heals is not good and Jenna's name is suggested to cover, Jewel looks after Noah while Jenna works. Cas & Jenna get close again, he still didn't know he's a daddy, then trouble comes calling. Excellent book, will start Hawk next, soon as bit more free time, can't waitSue P

Good read 👍👏
A good read & characters interesting. The story line was ok & kept me entertained. The only downside is jenna said she had new born & that Noah was now 6 near the end of the book, he was only 4 when she got pregnant & your only pregnant for 9month ?????🤷♀️🤷♀️🤔🤔🤔 & also Jenna was gone for 5 year & 9 month of that she was pregnant so Noah would only be 4 & half max. I do like an author to get things like this correct. But that is my little quirk that bothers me in books but might not bother other people. 🙄😉Worth a read if you enjoy MC books

Cute, light read
I was able to feel Cas's and Jenna's chemistry and connection potentially because of the shorter, more realistic sexual encounters. I appreciated the author's approach of making it more believable and relatable. I enjoyed Cas's possessiveness of Jenna, stepping in while she's bartending at the club house to keep the others in line and from being too handsy. His nostalgic planning of taking her back to the trailer where they came together the first time. His great treatment of Noah and not backing down from wanting to pursue Jenna because of her young son. It's refreshing and hot when the MMC steps in and doesn't slink away from potential responsibility.

Second Chance at Love
This is a first time read of this author for me and I enjoyed her style of writing. It was to the point and the story flowed and developed well. Cas and Jenna had had a brief relationship when they were young then she’d left town to study but Cas felt Jenna was always the one that got away. Down on her luck Jenna returns to town four years later and they quickly resume their relationship. There’s not the usual angst and breakup over a misunderstanding despite a big secret Jenna is keeping from Cas and she realises she has to be honest with Cas if they’re going to make ago of things. Even though the story is based around a MC there’s not a lot of MC action however this is a well paced, sweet love story with a few twists thrown in and a happily ever after.

Fell in love
I started this series with a little anxiously because it is an M.C. Romance. I want to explain that. I worry when I start any M.C. series because though I know it is fiction, I want there to be some very real elements to it. The reason is because bikers are a huge part of my life. My favorite babysitter was a biker. I have friends who are bikers and I married into a family full of bikers. In other words, some of my favorite people are bikers. So, the elements that I look for are not just the badass characters on motorcycles. Don't get me wrong. It should definitely be there but M.C. romances should have more than that. You should have a sense of family that is encompassed in the biker element. The men and women should have human emotions because after all, they are human. There should be loyalty because it is a HUGE part of all of it. The characters should have depth. In other words, they have to have different personalities and not just the I'm an alpha male and that's all there is to me. Whether you understand it or not, it is important to me that bikers are represented well. So, I started this series with a bit of worry. I opened Ghost and smiled. The family element is there from the beginning with Angel and Jenna and her son, Noah. It immediately made me invested in the story. Ghost is hot but he also well-developed and as I read, I could see the difference between him and his brothers. Daphne Loveling did well describing the club family and the loyalty that binds all of them. It is well-written and the town that she created is believable. This is another problem I've found with M.C. Romances. Their territory must be believable. There are places of business and the clubs own businesses. Their members own businesses. Their Ol' Ladies work. The town is an integral part of building the story. The town itself is as important as the characters because they are protecting their town. So, it must be well-described. The love between Ghost and Jenna is scorching hot and it's not an insta-romance. I have nothing against insta-romances but in this story there needed to be a slow burn because there is a past there. Another part I was happily surprised with is how she described the clubhouse and what goes on in the clubhouse. She made sure that the kids of the members were welcome and they weren't non-existent. I've seen this in only two series so far. (I really need to give more M.C. romances a chance) This is a very real thing that happens. Families do go to the clubhouses and that often includes children. So, to say that I love this book is an understatement. There was some relief with it too.So, I recommend this to anyone who loves bikers who are hot and real and anyone who loves fast paced action. I obviously do not recommend this for children unless you're ready to discuss the birds and the bees and there is violence within these pages. I honestly would recommend Ghost to anyone else.
