Measured my head at 23.5". That measurement falls just outside the 23-23.4 (7.375 to 7.5) range listed in the size chart by .1 too large. Reading the reviews the majority of them stated the hats run larger. So I ordered the 7.375 (7 3/8) hat and it was still too large. Wrote the vendor to try and have them provide me with an accurate size to fit and got told if I could stick one finger into the hat go down one size and if two fingers go down two sizes. I did not find that to be an adequate answer. I found a Stetson dealer that had Stratoliners in stock and a 7.25 fit perfect. Sent the hat back at my expense and got a $77 refund instead of the $88 I paid. Love the hat, not the vendor or the size chart!

Very well-made summer fedora. I like the fact that sizing is exact rather than S,M, L, XL, and the sweat band is leather rather than padded cloth.The fit was a tad loose, which I was able to correct with a little reducing tape. When the hat arrived there was no Startoliner pin, as issued by Stetson, in the grosgrain band; but Amazon offered a partial refund when I complained. Naturally, a full refund was also offered, but I didn't want to return the hat. The Stratoliner arrived in a carboard box, not a proper hat box, but I was able to straighten the brim with a little steam. Overall, this hat was good buy.

Nice hat. I have the felt version also which fits perfect. I ordered the straw in the same size and it was too large. I ordered some hat sizers which snugged it up enough to where I didn't have to return it.

Gave it 4 only because problems on sizing - other than 5.I have a number of different hats from a number of different companies - 7.5 on the money every time. This hat - I had to return the 7.5, no problems on the return - I ordered a 7 3/8, it is big on me, but I tightened it slightly by adding under the sweatband.

Hat was way too big. I've purchased three hats in the last year or so - two felt and one straw. All were 7 3/8 and all fit well. This hat was simply too big. I tried some 'hat tape', but still too large.

Great fit- hat was semi crushed in Amazon Prime box which I fixed with my steam iron and the ICONIC STRATOLINER PIN WAS MISSING.

This hat runs a little large but then straw hats shrink in time. The company offers spacers by request to help with the fit.

Great looking hat. I own many Stetsons, which I wear a 7 1/8, this hat I had to buy a size 7. The size 7 fits perfectly. I really like the quality and look of this hat. I would buy again. The hat didn’t come in a “Stetson Hat Box” but was in a very good shipping box that I use as a hat box.
