How can the particle size be 1-10um (stated from the seller) and the average be 1.6um (stated in the description)?

I don't know what the the particle size or distribution is. I have no reason to believe it is not as stated and was happy using this product for my intended purpose. It compared favorably with products from other vendors with the same specifications and a higher price. Both terms stated in the description can be correct. Imagine for a moment I have a pocket full of pennies and dimes. If I have 14 pennies and one dime in my pocket, the average denomination is $0.016. Comparing the average and median can tell you something about a distribution, but more importantly so could an independent measurement designed to do so. I would try the product and see if it also satisfies your needs or evaluation.
