Great big little kettle!
This is a very compact kettle, and very functional for camping and outdoors. The lid fits well and small items can be stored in the kettle during transport. I tested it several times in my kitchen at home and it performed flawlessly, comparable to my normal home stovetop kettle. The build is of high quality. One of the previous reviews showed a kettle with pinhole leaks and the person complained, however, they were using it to humidify a room on top of a wood stove and doubtlessly ran it dry on a hot stove - not a fault of the kettle but of the user. I love my kettle, and look forward to years of use.

Very efficient!
This in conjunction with the recommended stove works great. As a solo camper my water for food / coffee boiled in less than a min as I didn’t need to boil a large amount. Incredibly efficient.

Good Pot
1- heat exchanger pots are the real deal. They save about 30% fuel and time. I particularly like this design. It's similar to the much more expensive MSR Reactor, in that the vents are higher than the fins, so heat is forced partially up the side. Logically, more heat is captured.2- this is a sturdy 1.5 L pot with a good handle and lid. I wish it had volume markings. That said, the top of the ring inside is 12 oz, which is exactly what I need for my aeropress.3- this pot does not work with all stoves. Example: the Soto Amicus supports are just barely wider than the solid ring covering the fins on the base. Use the Amicus, and the pot will not be adequately supported (only about 1mm of the pot will be on each support, not good). It works perfectly for me with the Kovea Spider.4- I've used it for heating water and making homemade chicken vegetable soup (my favorite camping dinner). The 1.5L size is adequate for at least 2 people.5- I fit a 220gm canister, Kovea Spider, aluminum foil windscreen (made from a disposable aluminum pan), a Swedish dishcloth, and igniter inside the pot.6- Overall: a well made, inexpensive heat exchanger pot that works well with the Kovea Spyder stove I have. The fins are protected and the design makes sense to me. I also didn't have a mid-size HE pot. I enjoy camp cooking. Sometimes my 1L is too small and my 2L is too bulky. This fills a gap nicely for me.
