Great full dive mask
Hopefully my review will help some others who are contemplating purchasing this product. I did extensive research try to weigh options between the Ocean Reef and OTS. I obviously ended up with the Ocean Reef Extender. I wanted the versatility of adding accessories and controlling the air intake. After receiving our masks (2) the wife and I practiced in a pool setting for several weeks prior to heading to Cozumel. We felt pretty comfortable in the pool especially after purchasing the quick release valve which is a must. I absolutely love the mask but even after 6 dives I need to still get some more under my belt. I did need to open the air intake a bit more than the factory setting to allow easier breathing. Also the Surface air valve can be a little tight if you turn too much open or close so you may have to use some muscle if you accidently tighten too much. Just don't crank open or close and you should be fine. The straps do take some getting used to as far as how much to tighten. My wife with using a pony tail couldn't get the straps to sit correctly and ended up over tightening the mask and felt a little sore after two dives. Changing hair styles and tightening lightly worked real well. Ear straps then bottom straps should seat the mask pretty well without even touching the top straps. You can then tighten the top straps a couple of clicks and should be good to go. Wouldn't change back to regular mask though. Never fogged up and love breathing out of the nose.
