Straw flows easily when bottle is upright, not tipped
Love this bottle!!! It’s a lifesaver, particularly when I am on the go. Water tastes great, anywhere, from any tap. To ease flow through the straw that pulls the water through the filter, be sure not to tip the bottle upwards (as if you are drinking from a typical bottle). Instead, hold bottle vertically so the flow can resist gravity. That way, water moves easily through filter and straw. I hope this is helpful to others looking for a highest quality portable filtering solution.

Terrible water bottle
Water does not come out easily and get air in the straw. It also LEAKS from the top of spilled over. Very disappointed for the price and we’ve only had this water bottle for a month.

Gets the fluoride (etc) OUT!
Love this company; have read numerous water filter reports and trust this brand. I use their filter pitcher at home. It’s great to have a filtering bottle with the same reliability. My only complaint is there seems to be air in the straw frequently. I don’t agree with others’ suggestion that you have to suck hard. Maybe if you never work out and eat Twinkies all day. But I still recommend as it is vastly important to get as much crap out of our water as possible - in order to thwart the elites’ plan to off us all by various tactics such as poisoning our water with chemicals that don’t enhance anyone’s health - or help dental issues. Cheers!

Filter is great , but it leaks.
Works pretty well. The construction is ok. The seam where the lid screws in isn't insulated so it sweats. My two biggest issues are, the filter falls off the lid easily and it leaks a bit of water onto my clothing every time I use it. For this price it should be flawless.

Great filter
Great water bottle and I love how it filters. The filtration system has trouble staying in tact though…would love any tips other users have.

Great filtering water
Works great! I read reviews about difficulty drinking through the straw. You have to make sure the straw is completely on the filter and the cap. You also need to prime the filter before use. There is a video on the website that says to soak at least 30 minutes. That wasn’t long enough to get good suction. I did it for 24 hours. This brand was recommended by my Doctor to replace those plastic bottles that are bad for you.

Junk
I've been using a brita plastic water for sometime. I learned about microplastics so I decided to get a metal water bottle. I bought this one and then found out it had a plastic straw connecting filter to straw. I decided I'd just replace it with a metal straw but wanted to see how well it worked with the equipment it came with. I washed it let the filter sit in water for 30 mins. I then put it together the first sip tasted like salt water. I did a couple sip and spits through half the bottle filled it up. Then took a drink. You have to suck harder then you should and then you get air in the straw. Pretty much you get a squirt of water with more effort then it should take. Also the water doesn't taste good. I bought 3 for Christmas 1 for me my girl and her daughter and it was the worse 130 I ever spent. I recommend just buying one of the brita water bottles instead

Difficult to drink from
Love the idea of drinking such clean water however it’s sooooooo difficult to drink from these water bottles and they are expensive. We’ve had two different bottles and have tried using new filters too- like another review stated, it’s like drinking water through a pinched straw. Maybe the pitcher is a better option?!
