NOW Foods Supplements, Vitamin K-2 100 mcg, Menaquinone-4 (MK-4), Supports Bone Health*, 100 Veg Capsules

I got these to supplement my vitamin D. They are easy to take, no taste, and are a good size with no stomach upset.

NOW brand is one that I actually trust. I do my research on vitamins and supplements before I get them and NOW always seems to have exactly what I'm looking for at a great price. This is a great value for what you get, and I use it with vitamin D3. The mcg is the perfect amount for the amount per capsule. They are incredibly easy to swallow and are a great size. It always comes fresh and sealed.

My go to for Vitamin K.

I'm a long-time sufferer of metabolic syndrome. After reading about all the vascular and bone benefits of K2, I figured I should really add this supplement. Unfortunately it's hard to say if it "works"... it's not like you'll feel better or anything. For now I can say I had a dexa scan recently (I've been losing weight recently trying to improve my health, so I wanted to get an accurate bf/lbm measurement) a while back and unexpectedly revealed osteopenia (below-normal bone density, but not outright osteoporosis). I plan to keep taking a K2 supplement for the foreseeable future, however I think I'm going to switch to an MK-7 version of K2, which is purported to be more biologically active. Maybe next year I'll get another dexa and see if there's any BMD improvement (and of course I'll be taking lots of VitD as it is reported to be synergistic with K2). The price on these is very good. Not sure if the alfalfa on the label is really a big deal, though I'd prefer eliminating the carbohydrate fillers.. These are capsules with a pale-green powder filling. They're quite easy to swallow. They closely resemble the NOW Hawthorn Extract capsules, so I can't ever tell which is which in my daily pill organizer.

I have a molar that had a spot on the side of it where the enamel was missing for probably the last 15 or so years. I started taking two of these per day and it was the only supplement I was taking, and I noticed within a few months my molar seem to have been re-mineralized. I’m not saying this will get rid of your cavities, but it was the only thing I was taking and it does move calcium.

Great supplement that can be hard to find. Good for bones and overall health with a good price point.

Feel it is helping along with Vitamin D3. It is good taken together. However, check further if on any medication.
