The seat looks good and is good to sit on. I am glad that it came with new stainless steel screws of sufficient length because the screws that held the old seat were too short to use with this new seat. The new screws were tucked in and taped underneath the new seat's bottom. I liked the seat well enough that I just ordered two more to replace the remaining pedestal seats on the older Alumacraft Backtroller 16 that we acquired last fall.

Nice seats for the price!
These are the exact same seats we had in our boat for ten or 12 years. One of them broke last week so I decided to replace all three. Hope these are as good as the first ones we had. Very comfortable!

Excellent quality, looks great
I bought 4 of these but decided to use only 2. I did not realize that they weren't Amazon Prime but 3rd party so I had to pay return shipping. Was quoted $60.00/chair by UPS and $40.00 by USPS. I am trying to sell them locally . My fault for not reading the fine print. Just something to be aware of.

No good.
Bought two of these. I can't understand how the reviews on this seat are good. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs and the seat is flimsy under me. No back support and when I lean back, it feels like I'm just going to lay it all the way over. It's like there is no stop for the back. I see there is one, but it doesn't stop it from leaning way back and being unsupportive. This seat is for children or small people.Wish I could return it, had it on my boat too long w/o taking it out on the water and missed my window. Do yourself a favor and spend another $30 to get a decent seat.

Not high end seat but above average
I ordered two of these high back seats. These are prefect for my Princecraft 17’ fishing boat. Arrived on time with no damage. The price was right. They look and feel like well made boat seats. Would recommend. Some other reviews stated that the seats bend back to far when leaning back. Not these ones.
