Great texture, cooks perfectly
Rao's never disappoints, and this fusilli is no exception. The pasta has a great texture, holds its shape well, and doesn't get mushy even if you leave it in the pot a minute too long. It really grabs onto sauce thanks to the ridges and curls, so every bite is well coated. Cooks evenly and consistently, easy to get that perfect al dente texture. Great quality pasta for a good price, would definitely buy again.

The BEST box pasta !!!!
I am very selective about store bought pasta as I make my own, just like my mother and my grandmother did back in Sicily, and its THE BEST. NOTHING beats fresh pasta. But compared to the cheap NOT ITALIAN box pastas like Barilla's or Ronzoni, Rao's is the BEST. REALLY, TRULY. Its quality definitely surpasses all the rest. It stays firm and is silky smooth which allows it to hold sauce without getting soggy or mushy. Try it, but do not overcook it. remove it from the heat about a minute before it is finished cooking as it will continue cooking on its own for a minute or so. Remember to save a few tablespoons of the pasta water to add to the sauce for a flavorful experience.
