Beautiful Books!
Simply LOVE IT! The binding, the artwork, the tales, the quality of the paper.. every detail of this book makes it wonderful! I was looking for a book like this since it's perfect for children. It makes it fun for them to read. The only thing is that some of the vocabulary is a bit advance so you will definitely need to read it to them. I bought also the Greek and Egyptian mythology and will definitely buy the Tales from the Arabian Night too. Click the button if this review helped you at all. :)

beautiful pictures
Our 9 year old daughter got into Mythology having read Edith Wharton's "Mythology." We bought her several of these books, which were cheaper on Amazon than at Costco. The pictures which fill full pages throughout the entire book on every page are beautiful. This book is not only for reading about mythology but teaches children to examine the art as well as the written word, something we have lost sight of.

Purchased for my 10 year old grandson.
He loved it & found text easy to read. His dad is of Norwegian descent so the stories kind of bonded them.

Loving this series.
My daughter loved this book! We pre-ordered it, and she was through it in one day, then reported it was wonderful, but it was "too short!" and "too many gods, not enough monsters and mythical creatures..." We like the whole series.

Well worth adding to your collection.
This book easily is designed for the coffee table as well as a story book I would use to read to my children. The pages are well designed and illustrated, although I was not initially attracted to the artwork, being very Greek in it's design. It gives a very well laid out outline of the myths, from creation to Ragnarok, with snippets of historical facts, and brief captions from previous pages to keep the reader on track on how it relates to the current story.

Love it
Its great for my child. 4 year old. Its informative without being cheesy like most of the books aimed towards kids. Pictures are great. If your child is hard to focus though it could be too many words although the pictures are striking
