I am so grateful for this book!!
Wonderful book by one of my favorite people, Louise Hay, and my two new favorite authors, Ahlea Khadro and Heather Dane. The food facts are great, and very well researched, and the recipes are to die for. Reading it made me feel like I had come home. So much resonated with what my body has been telling me for years, but I haven't listened - until now.If you are not sure if this book is for you, take a look at Louise Hay's pictures and then remember that she is in her late 80's. I don't look that good at 68, but I am sure I would have if I had found out all of this sooner. But who knows just how gorgeous I will look in my late 80's! I can't wait to see, and then as I walk down the runway, roses in my arms, after winning the Ms. Older/Wiser America pageant, I will attribute it to these wonderful ladies. Maybe I will get to have lunch with Louise- she will still be going strong by then, I am sure!!!!! Thank you Louise, Ahlea, and Heather, from the bottom of my heart - my much healthier heart!

Change your perspective change your life
This book is more than I expected. Eating good food to lose weight and be healthier is one premise. Spending time with self to change one’s thought process and perspective and looking at situations in a brand new light is another. Essentially cannot have one without the other.

Unbeatable Combination!
Beautiful combination of practical and intuitive guidance to great health. As a highly sensitive woman and health coach, I believe health begins with self-love and the practice of listening to our bodies. It's an unbeatable combination we have when we come into the world. We just need to remember how. Louise Hay, once again, is right on target teaching us what is innate but forgotten!

Best Healthy Recipes!
The BEST healthy cooking book I have ever bought! The recipes are understandable, everything is explained in clear words perfect for newbies. The recipes are awesome. Some seem weird at first, but they are very very good. I soaked raw nuts and made my own almond milk - something I could not understand from other books I have. It's simple once you know how, but I had so many questions the first time! There are recipes with meat and fish; usually 'healthy eating' cookbooks are all vegetarian. It took a couple of trips to the local coop for some of the ingredients, but they are available and I asked for help more than once. I have heard Ahlea and Heather speak in person and they are the real deal. Of course Louise is too!! Thank you so much to the 3 of them for putting this book together!! I feel like I finally crossed a big hurdle to learning to eat healthy with the help of this book!

OK I openly admit I just bought the book about 20 minutes ago. The 5 stars came from the awesome books of her past as well as from the first 42 pages I've read so far. I will be back to give a full review! I bought this book as 3 days ago I heard those horrible horrible words "you've got breast cancer". I am seeking non traditional ways to treat MYSELF now before I even meet with the Drs to talk about how to treat the cancer. I will let you all know my opinion. I think being in the place of fear and living a very high stressed life, a smoker, over weight (I have lost 110 lbs in 8 months - makes me wonder if that was the cancer all along though), diet pop drinker, quickie food eater. I've done it ALL wrong for 52 years!!! If this book can turn me & my health around, it can help anyone. I shall return - Beth :)

Not for Vegans - Mass Produced Novice Advice
I'm a huge fan of Louise Hay, but this one just wasn't for me. Very basic principles regarding diet and nutrition. Some good advice for people who have little knowledge regarding deficiencies and proper diet, but overall, not impressed. Real Dr. Andrew Weil instead. Also Dr. Christiane Northrup does an excellent job of explaining self-love and health.

Tells You What It Takes to Be Healthy & Happy!
I love this book! It has so much great information and so many fantastic suggestions. Louise Hay, Ahlea Khadro and Heather Dane all contribute their own insights into achieving better health, from daily positive affirmations to food selections and recipes. It's a very comprehensive look at what it takes to be healthy and happy... and the two go hand in hand! If you're struggling with your health, I highly suggest you check this out!
