Chords in Motion: Moving Quartal Voicings & Related Structures, Spiral-bound Book

Warning, while this book is awesome you will need to develop your own way of working these voicing through keys and range. I have just started to use this and will write another review detailing how it impacts my playing. For less than the price of a single lesson, you get the history or modern voicings (Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner et al).

Good book and I recommend getting the DVD also it has the details to help better understand the book. Andy is definitely one of the excellent pianist with deep knowledge of the music.

I really thanks God and Andy LaVerne for these book,Wich i allready called "Golden".Chords in Motion has impact me a lot.Was exactly what i needed to upgrade my knowleged of jazz. I am a self-taught person and thise book has really hit on the point.It is not for beginner thou,It is for sombody Who is far beyon into Jazz. Highly recomended.

There are no explanations, so if you are an intermediate pianist, I would not buy this book. I find it to notbe useful.

Sie demonstriert den Buchinhalt und ist eine sinnvolle Ergänzung hierzu.Voraussetzungen: englische Fachsprache, Klavier nach Noten, umfangreiche Kenntnisse der Harmonielehre.Zielgruppe: Jazzstudenten und Musikwissenschaftler.
