Unique Loom Narenj Collection Area Rug - Birmingham (5' 1" x 8' Rectangle, Blue/ Burgundy)

Obviously this is not a "genuine" Persian rug. It's something synthetic. For us it's great because it was cheap and we have animals in the house so everything has to be disposable at some point. The pattern is wonderful and the colors are good. We are very pleased with it. It's not very thick, it's soft for bare feet, and it smoothed right out with an hour in the sun. It had no odor, and it vacuums easily. I have tile floors and cats racing through, so I just used some corner tabs to hold it down.

Firstly, this rug does indeed look like in the photos, if not better. I'm absolutely dazzled with the design and colors. Initially, I was planning on placing a 3/8" rug pad underneath, but when I walked on this rug, it actually relatively thick and comfortable to walk on. For this reason I opted in placing a thin rubber grip pad instead which will protect both the rug, floor and provide extra slip protection. I didn't really notice this rug being very slippery out of the box though, and that's on a hardwood floor too. Another pleasant surprise was that it didn't seem to require almost any flattening period. It just looked very smooth as soon as I placed it down with minimal creasing which went away in around a day. Vacuuming this rug is very smooth and effortless. I never feel like there is a lot of friction when brushing vacuum on it making it feel super smooth and satisfying to clean. Keep in mind, you may notice it tends to release white hairs for the first few weeks which can attach to the other parts of your room but this tends to go away with regular vacuuming. Lastly, this rug feels very high quality and soft. I've owned expensive silk rugs in the past and let me tell you, this is the most beautiful rug I've seen and prefer this over the expensive silk ones I've had! I can't speak on the longevity of this rug since I haven't had it long enough but I feel confident it will hold up considering how high quality it feels. I HIGHLY recommend this rug.

This rug is a wonderful value. It is thick and the colors are vibrant. I did not expect such good quality for such a low price. Plus, my rug was shipped out immediately and delivered by FedEx within a few days. Thank you! I highly recommend this rug.

Great heavy pictorial rug. Reminiscent of a Mid-evil tapestry. Very thick and functional for warming up old wooden floors, easy to clean with bright, vibrant colors. I suspect it will be quite durable. There is an anti slip mat in the back to keep in place.

I am satisfied with this runner . After ordering and return 6 to 7 runners ,this is the one finally I found.I like it , very smooth under my feet. The only 1 thing I didn't like that much ,its not that sturdy as I thought but adding grip mat it fulfills my purpose.still giving 5 stars.I like it so far.

This rug is well made, thick. Great value for the money. I love it. May get another one

The designs are quirky and are drawn a little misshapen, but I don't mind. The rug is well made, and the colors are good quality. This is the second time I've purchased this rug, I have a smaller one and now this larger one. I love them!

The Unique Loom Narenj runner brings a timeless, architectural elegance to any space it graces. With its tightly woven nap, the rug offers a tactile sense of refinement, and the narrow width fits snugly into even compact hallways. Its deep, almost black navy blue tone adapts seamlessly to low-light environments, creating a versatile visual presence that can complement non-blue palettes without discord. The intricate patterning is vibrant and dynamic, telling a captivating “picture story” that transforms this piece into a functional work of art. While the current colorway is stunning, its design begs for expansion into a broader palette. The availability of larger sizes in alternative tones could easily extend this rug’s impact to living rooms or open-plan spaces. An excellent choice for those seeking to combine aesthetic storytelling with practical utility.
