Very good bang for your buck
I really like this binoculars!! But at first I had my doubts. I decided to buy binoculars with 2 objectives in perspective, first we like shooting and needed a way to spot our hits at 100 and 200 yards with a 22lr (small hole). Second we live in Costa Rica and like going hiking in the mountains and bird watching. So, as you can see from one perspective we just needed some magnification and for the other picture quality. This binoculars have comply with both challenges, the picture is clear enough and the magnification is great. I would say that the built quality is more that I expected, they are well built and have good quality glass, for the price, i mean of course are not Swarovski or Leupold, but we are really happy with them. For the weight I like it, they weight just enough so you feel them, but not as much is uncomfortable when walking long distances in mountain terrain. Also I have to say they really are waterproof, we have taken a lot of rain with 0 issues at all. I would recommend this binoculars for anyone looking for decent picture quality and a good price for a first.

Fairly good binoculars for the price
I have to say, I'm impressed with the quality of the optics in these Celestron UpClose G2 10-30x50 Zoom Porro Binoculars! The collimation was off a little, so I had to adjust the prisms slightly, but after the adjustment the binoculars performed flawlessly. I could only find one set of prism adjustment screws, for the vertical alignment, but I couldn't find the horizontal adjustment screws. Fortunately I didn't need to adjust the prisms horizontally. The focus is a little soft at the 30x end of the zoom, but that's nothing to worry about as I can just back off to about 25x to 28x and get a clear focus. There is some light loss at 30x, but the image is still pretty bright. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone, especially in the $50 price range. Are there better binoculars out there? Certainly, but you'll have to pay $100+ to buy them! If you're looking for budget binoculars, these are the ones you want. If you're looking for good binoculars with a wide range of zoom ability, you should buy these! I will be taking these out to watch bald eagles this weekend, should have bright clear skies, so I will have an even better idea of how well these actually do perform.

Looking for an all in one?
I was looking for an all in one set of binoculars and for the price these are ok. There is a catch if you are looking at these. Good views 10 to 20 but field of view is reduced. Anything above that is gonna be hard to deal with. I was experiencing double images above 20X and could not get them to merge the image. The other problem is image was not as sharp or as bright. So I’m gonna return mine and go for the mid range 12x60mm. I have a really nice 20x80mm for long range and a set of 7x50mm for short range. So I’ll have to break down and spend to get the mid range.

Look elsewhere
I got them used for $40 and I still wouldn’t buy them again. The zoom feature feels crappy and is not smooth, the image quality out of the right eye is vastly better than the left eye even after properly focusing and adjusting leading to double vision, ghosting and major discoloring which is more prevalent when using the zoom feature. The center focusing ring is way too easy to manipulate leading to constant focusing. Also might as well forget about the included lens caps since they’ll slide off as well. The binocular build quality themselves feels great in the hands and the lenses are clear but again the refracting issue is pretty prevalent as shown in the lowest zoom setting taking a picture of a vulture and it appeared the same if not better taking a picture than my own eyes

Starry Views with Blurry Limits: A Mixed Zoom Experience
Celestron 10x30-50 Zoom Binoculars: A Good Choice with Limitations. I recently purchased the Celestron 10x30-50 Zoom Binoculars in like-new condition and they arrived in pristine, original packaging with all components included. The product was exactly as described and the initial unboxing experience was excellent. These binoculars feel solid and well-made, offering a mix of versatility and portability. However, while they perform well in certain scenarios, they are not without their shortcomings, particularly at higher zoom levels. The 10x to 30x zoom capability is one of the binoculars’ main selling points, and it performs admirably at lower magnifications. The 50mm objective lenses gather plenty of light, delivering bright and clear views for stargazing and general use. At 10x magnification, the field of view is wide and detailed and making it easy to locate celestial objects or scan landscapes. However, as you zoom closer to 30x magnification, the limitations become apparent. When using higher magnifications, I noticed that the binoculars struggled to focus on finer details. Objects appeared slightly blurry, and there was a distinct “out-of-focus ball effect” that made precise observations difficult. This issue detracts from their usability for stargazing, as zooming in to observe features like the moon’s craters or distant planets doesn’t provide the level of clarity one would expect. Adjusting the focus wheel at these levels helps somewhat but the image quality never quite reaches the sharpness seen at lower magnifications. Despite these issues, the binoculars remain comfortable and user-friendly. The lightweight design and rubberized grip make them easy to handle for extended periods and the adjustable eyecups provide a good fit for glasses wearers and non-glasses wearers alike. The build quality is solid, the binoculars hold up well for casual use, especially when used at 10x to 15x magnification, where the binoculars perform best! In terms of versatility, the binoculars are still a good option for a variety of activities beyond stargazing. They work well for birdwatching, hiking, and general sightseeing, particularly at lower magnifications. However, the struggles with image clarity at higher zoom levels and distance make them less suitable for anyone seeking a tool for serious astronomical observations. Overall, I would rate the Celestron 10x30-50 Zoom Binoculars as a 3-star product. While they offer good value and solid performance at lower zoom levels, the difficulties with focus and clarity at higher magnifications hold them back. They are a decent choice for casual stargazing and outdoor activities but if you’re looking for binoculars capable of delivering sharp detailed views at maximum zoom, you may want to consider other options.

Wide angle 7x35 Binoculars that have a Sharp View
This is my second pair, I gave one away as a gift and then decided to buy the 7X35 binoculars again. With an 8.8 degree field of view with a bright and sharp image which can easliy be held... it is hard not to love these binoculars. Even though they are not waterproof I seldom ever use binoculars in the rain. With a 8.8 degree field of vision binocular. The view is wide, bright and sharp as up scan large areas there is no need to focus. The 7x35 are light binoculars that can be held super still. Although 7x magnification is not real strong, it is surprising how close things appear. I hardly use binoculars higher than a 10x. It perfoms well in low light. An extrordinary buy for under 50 dollars. I have several expensive binoculars but these have the best field of view. If you find out they are not for you give them to someone as a gift.

Great buy for the money
These are actually very nice binos while These are not marketed as astro binos they are capable of giving extremely good veiws of the night sky was able to get pin point stars and with a tripod and the higher power to see quiet alot they don't compete with my 80mm binos but stand tall on their own for a different field of veiw and versatility

Binocolo celestron 10-30x 50
