back to the 80's !!!
FANTASTIC!!!This brings back such wonderful memories of being at nan and grandad's house during the summer in the late 80's, they had a multicoloured rainbow bug blind and I used to sit on the kitchen floor plaiting all the strands together :P until grandad caught me and grumbled, LOLThis is a good quality blind with a bit of weight to it - the strands make a very reassuring tapping noise in the wind but they fall into silence when you close the door or the wind stops blowing. It got a bit twisted trying to take the cellophane off but I needn't have panicked because it all unravelled without any bother and all the strands hung perfectly straight after a short while, there were no kinks or folds. They're not exactly the same length at the bottom but that's no big deal as flies usually fly, they very rarely crawl. I fixed two screws into the door frame for it to sit on rather than using the sticky hooks supplied as the paint is so old in our lovely old house that it probably would have peeled off and brought the blind down with it.Worth every penny!

Good product 👌 👍
Nice product.. not cheap looking like I remember them being as a kid. My friends have brought them after coming to my house. Really keeps the fly out but let's the air in. Would recommend a bit of super glue on brackets to help them stay up.

good qaulity but could be wider
not the widest curtain could have been another 2" so hoping the bugs are the big ones..

Okay, but some drawbacks.
I bought the cream and brown one of these last year because they were cheap and I wanted to test the principle - it does the job reasonably well but there are some drawbacks. For example, the tapes are very light and if hung over a door tend to get sucked inside the door jamb when you try to close the door. The tapes stick together when they are wet, and if you mount this in a position that gets full sunshine then you will not only need a support at either end but also have one in the middle to stop the plastic rod taking on a banana shape because of the heat. No fixings were supplied so I used 25mm cup hooks. We had left it tied back outside the door over the winter and brought it back into use in May and it was still okay. During last summer one of the tapes fell out but everything else seems to have survived so far. For the money it's probably quite good value, but I think we'll upgrade to a chain one (less annoying).A problem with this principle generally though is that, although it should keep airborne insects out, wasps are cleverer than that and just walk past around the edges.

Door curtain
Lovely fresh colour, looks lovely on our static caravan door, easy to install, and keeps the flies out

Awful
This is the third one of these blinds I have had from this company in the past 3 years. The quality of this one is awful. The straps keep falling out and the rod itself is bent. Considering its described as heavy duty and its just on our kitchen door then its not up to the job. Won't be buying again!!

I love my 'black' door blind❤️
I use these bug blinds all year round as i hate bluebottles or flies buzzing around the home and they work a treat I'm pleased to say.😊This is my 4th blind over the year's and i prefer to use the "black" colour as it keeps the sun out of the kitchen and helps keep things cool, and i can see better when I'm cooking. They would last me longer if my son wasn't so rough with them as his rucksack is usually responsible for pulling the odd strip out from time to time, which is the only reason they need replacing. I've yet to spoil one and I'm in and out most days with my arm's full of washing or shopping bags.Sizewise I agree with one of the other reviews and would prefer one or maybe two extra strips making the blind slightly wider, then there would be NO GAPS either side of the blind (although a few drops of Peppermint oil, Eucalyptus or Citronella or even Lemongrass will all help keep bugs at bay) thats what i use at my open windows and it seems to work.I also agree the stickiness of the plastic hooks could be better(I just used gorilla glue or false nail glue which is very cheap and works great) apart from those two little niggles I'm never without a bug blind.I tie it up at night or in windy weather and allow it to do it's job again the next day! 👍I love my black door blind❤️

Super schwere Qualität
Super Qualität, keine billigen leichten Plastikstreifen. Schwere Ausführung, daher wehen sie auch nicht beim kleinen Lüftchen zur Seite.
User
Worthless, already broken
I put it in the door of my campervan . The plastic falls off. Cheap material, not as I thought like the classical old model . Ugly cheap construction
