Very effective, i keep the water for one week and don’t get spoiled

I use it for my birds every other day when I refill there water

Product itself is great, has the tinfoil seal, just didn't come with a lid so I'll have to move it into something with a lid.

Wasn't sure why my birds were losing feathers, whether from mites (even though I regularly treated them for mites) or from stress as had a several week visit from family who had 3 cats and a dog, and I have 2 cats. One bird perked up the next morning after starting vitamins, and all 3 are getting their feathers back. Very pleased with this product. Wasn't sure if they would drink medicated water, but they had no problem drinking it. Will order more.

You only use a tiny bit; hence the tiny scooper included in the jar.I can say that my Mum’s Cockatiel did seem to look better, and was more active sinceThis product consists of a small bottle of powder that comes with an aluminum foil seal, the directions state approx. 1-1+1/2 scoops per 3oz water or food for med sized birds, etc. I bought this for my mum’s cockatiel. When I opened the bottle there was a teenie-tiny scoop inside (and a stay fresh sillica pak) that is included in the bottle. The powder changes the color of the water to yellow, so you’ll at least be able to tell if you treated the water.! I’m not sure if it is helping of not, but I figure it can’t hurt, so will see over time. So far that I know, her cockatiel is still drinking the water as she doesn’t appear dehydrated, so will see if there are any changes over time.

be careful. these tend to harden vey easily. you might actually receive them already hardened because the seal under the cap is not secured.

One of my two budgies started getting a rough and flaky looking beak and his cere was no longer blue, it had turned brown and wrinkled. I was very worried he was developing scaly beak. My birds were previously neglected and had a seed only diet. Along with changing their diet to pellet and veggie based I started adding about 1/3 a scoop of this powder into their water bowl everyday and his beak has changed in a matter of weeks! His beak is much smoother and his cere is becoming fuller and colored again. They don’t seem to mind the flavor and after a month I still have over half the container left. I will definitely buy more once I run out.
