I was looking for a torch with these four coloured aspects to use on a preserved railway for hand signals at night, and it is ideal being smaller and easier to handle than the conventional Bardic lamp.

Great little torch for multiple uses. I needed a new torch for astronomy, a red light helps to preserve your night vision. This cycles between White>Green>Red>Off with a click of the button. Nice chunky light and well made.

The advert was misleading so I returned torch I was expecting torch to be a side button (as described) so that was a disappointment.That said it did seem well made had the colour sequence been more logical I would have kept it regardless of button position.Switching the touch on and off 4 times to get to red was no use..Sequence in my opinion needs to be Red first so as not to scare away wild life or destroy night vision. Then white for times when red is not practical (broken glass when walking dog) green was no use (for me) the blue did not do what it claimed i.e. detect dog stains my guess is it’s not ultraviolet but just a colour led.It would have been better in my opinion to have had a torch that went Red/white then strobe.As White first just scares wildlife away before you get to change setting, Red is good for night vision and strobe good for other situations that involve security strobe needs to be able to be activated fast as well and not turning of torch multiple times some torches do this by quickly double clicking twice.
